Batman Memorabilia From Around The World

One thing I love about doing the BAT-BLOG are the e-mails from people from all over the world. It seems like there are Batman Fans everywhere. Germany, France, Bulgaria, Argentina, India, etc...all have products featuring the Dark Knight. here's a few examples. The 1st picture is a Laser Disc made for the Japanese market. It features the 1966 Batman Movie w/ Burt Ward & Adam West. Batman is really HUGE in Japan! The 2nd photo is a RARE piece of Bat-Memorabilia from the UK. Our friends in England use the word "Badges" instead of "Buttons" or "Pins", like we do in the USA. The last photo is a Batman Comic Book from Poland. It is titled "LADERLAPPEN", which sound kind of cool!

Artist Profile: ERIK VON LEHMANN's Comic Art Portfolio

If you're a regular reader of the Bat-Blog then you know how obsessed I am to always find really good material for Bat-Fans to enjoy, ha ha! Well, the other night, I came across the online art portfolio of a commercial artist named ERIK VON LEHMANN. ( Click on the small pictures above to see large, very detailed, photos ). His artwork is really amazing & to be honest there was so much good material there that it was hard to pick just a few for this story! He has a very unique style & draws many different comic book characters but it seems his main focus, or inspiration, is The Dark Knight himself! I can tell from the love he puts into these drawings that this guy is a HUGE Batman Fan so that's cool. Anyway, here are just a few examples of this talented artist's work. Funny Humor: BATMAN Comic Strip!

PASS FAIL STUDIOS A Funny Comic Book Superhero-Related Webcomic!

While surfing the web the other day I came across this hilarious webcomic by Pass Fail Studios. It revolves around the characters of the DC & Marvel Comics Universe. Up above is one such panel, click on it for more easy reading. The web comic has a ton of references to Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Powergirl, Wolverine, Spiderman, X-Men, etc... & some are pretty gosh-darn funny! Check it out sometime. THE BATMAN ADVENTURES - Original Comic Book Cover Artwork

Fans of Original Batman Comic Book Artwork are gonna totally love this! Up above is the Cover Art done by Mike Parobeck for issue #35 of THE BATMAN ADVENTURES. This was basically a tie-in for the Animated Series Cartoon & done in the exact same style. Personally, I have always loved the TV Show so the comics they made were great too because you got the same great graphics. (( Please be sure to click on the pic up above for a way larger, more sharp, picture )) The minimal-clean artwork is totally beautiful! Also, the cover features both Batman & Catwoman so that's kind of cool too.
