Here's an example of some really great comic book art! This is the original cover art to Batman's DETECTIVE COMICS # 815. It was done by Cliff Chiang. It's kind of interesting to see how it went from the black & white drawing to the colors they used when printing it. The main figure ( the bad guy ) & his victims are all rendered with black line-work while the background is done with a dark blue/gray color giving it a whole other feel, like as if it's "other-worldly" or "ghost-like"...a very nice graphic effect.
