Warner Bros & Rocksteady just released some images of THE RIDDLER from the New BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game! Everyone remembers how the Riddler played a part in the last game, Arkham Asylum. There was a Bonus play where you searched around for "Riddler Clues". But the thing was, they never really showed him. You mostly just heard his voice. Today, in BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game News, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment & Rocksteady Studios presented a Press Release where they announced a release date for the highly-anticipated video game! It looks like it is coming out in the USA on October 18th, in Australia beginning October 19th and in Europe and other global territories beginning October 21st. Look for it in the Xbox 360, Microsoft: Games for Windows PC, and the PlayStation 3 (PS3) computer entertainment systems.
With the release of every teaser-trailer video, screenshot, or wallpaper it seems like the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game just keeps looking better & better! It's already known that the Gotham City "playground" is gonna be wayyyyy bigger than the previous game's layout. Plus, there's gonna be a lot more villains! Are you a Fan of this game yet? The Javits Center in New York City was bustling this week with some of the coolest and most unusual collectible action figures and statues at the 2011 TOY FAIR. Among them, DC Direct displayed some their newest products. Shown here are the DCU Online MMO figures of THE JOKER and HARLEY QUINN ( These look pretty awesome! ). Plus, speaking of Harley, we also get to see the Harley Quinn Figure from the new BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Action Figure Series ( Video Game Version ).

Oh man, is it Wednesday already? Well then, you know what that means. It's now time for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"! This week I thought I would mix it up & throw a few background graphics together that have a lot of variety to 'em. You know, just for kicks! The 1st one was made using some comic book artwork I found of Batman & Selina ( Catwoman ) together. The art was done by Paul Gulacy & that's always a fan-favorite. Next we have the Joker & he looks insane as usual! I also love that huge gun he has with the punching glove, it's crazy! The last one is sort of a tribute to the brand-new BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY video game that's gonna come out later. Of course we're talking about the sequel to the Batman:Arkham Asylum game so you know it's gonna be cool. I really like the limited color palette of black and white with a little bit of color, it's very graphic. So, go ahead & enjoy these. Also, please share them with all your friends.
OK, I'm pretty excited about the recent news for the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game that's suppose to come out later. Of course I'm talking about the sequel to the "Game of The Year" BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM. The game, which will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC looks like it's gonna be pretty cool! Here are 2 desktop background wallpapers I created using production art from the game. I love the black and white graphics. The 1st one is the new BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY logo & the 2nd one shows Batman & Catwoman in Gotham City, MEOW! Please be sure to dig through the BAT-BLOG ARCHIVES to see more wallpapers. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently announced BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY as the title for the follow-up to the award winning and critically acclaimed videogame BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM. Shown here are the 2 variant covers for GAME INFORMER magazine which will be released next month, September 2010, so keep an eye out for those ( Also, be sure to click on the graphics up above for some hi-res artwork ). The game, which will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC next fall and developed by Rocksteady Studios, expands upon the gritty, atmospheric scenery and characterization that catapulted BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM to the forefront. It is set in a sequestered section of Gotham City that has become the home for the criminally insane. Players are introduced to a brand new story that bring together an ensemble cast of characters and villains from the Batman universe, as well as enhanced gameplay features that build upon the ultra-realistic Dark Knight experience that fans enjoyed with BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM.
