Video: BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Game - SILENT KNIGHT Gameplay HD Trailer

Eidos has released a new trailer from Batman: Arkham Asylum, a dark, action adventure game developed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. In this new video game, the player assumes the role of Batman as he delivers The Joker to Arkham Asylum. There, the imprisoned super-villains have set a trap and an immersive combat gaming experience unfolds. Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham Asylum has an original script penned by Emmy Award-winning Batman writer Paul Dini. The game will hit the store shelves in summer 2009.

BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM - New Photos From The Video Game

A friend just sent me a few screen shots from the brand new BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Video Game that's coming out soon for the XBox 360, Playstation 3 ( PS3 ), & the PC. In these pics you can really get a better view of his costume & the detailing is pretty cool ( click on them for larger, more detailed, shots ). So far all the graphics I have seen make this game look very interesting. Let's keep our fingers crossed that we finally get a good one!

Sony Announces MR. FREEZE Villain For DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game

Sony Entertainment just sent the following Press Release for their new DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game ( with DC Comics ) & it's AWESOME news:

Victor Fries devoted his life to the hopeless task of curing his beloved wife, Nora from a fatal disease. He keeps her body frozen in suspended animation hoping that one day his experiments will cure her. One such experiment exposed him to a hail of super-coolants that altered his body chemistry. In order to survive, the brilliant cryogenicist must now be encased in his supercooled suit whenever the outside temperature is above sub-zero.

Although Batman offered to help Victor Fries, now known as Mr. Freeze, he refused because he was convinced that his own failures to save his wife are the fault of Gotham's Dark Knight. Armed with his Freeze Gun, Mr. Freeze partners with other criminals to steal the money he needs for his experiments and diamonds to power his freeze suit.

DC UNIVERSE ONLINE STATUES: BATMAN & CATWOMAN Based on the Art of JIM LEE

Well, it looks like DC Direct is going to release a few statues to capitalize on the popularity of it's new multi-player video game titled DC UNIVERSE ONLINE. Now, for people who have not heard of this game it's going to be a lot like "World of Warcraft" where you can become any DC Comics Comic Book Character & then enter the DC Universe ( Batman's Gotham City, Superman's Metropolis, & other famous places ). It's been totally art directed by Jim Lee so you know it will look extremely cool! In fact, he's the artist who designed each statue here: Batman & Catwoman! They are both a hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain figure measuring a little over 7" tall & will be packaged in a 4-color box. The release date is November 17th, 2010 so be sure to keep an eye out for them...MEOW!

Warner Bros & Rocksteady just released some images of THE RIDDLER from the New BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game! Everyone remembers how the Riddler played a part in the last game, Arkham Asylum. There was a Bonus play where you searched around for "Riddler Clues". But the thing was, they never really showed him. You mostly just heard his voice. Well, in this sequel to the "Game of The Year", the Riddler plays a major role. These 2 Wallpaper backgrounds celebrate this ( Please share these with all your friends ).

New DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Statue - The JOKER

Here's a brand-new statue from DC Direct of THE JOKER as he appears in the new DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game. I like that they went with a "classic comic book" version of the character, "The Clown Prince of Crime!" It's based on the artwork of Jim Lee. This statue will be hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain and measure approximately 7.6" high x 5 1/4" wide x 2 1/5" deep. It will also be a Limited Edition piece. The retail price will be around $ 90.00 & it goes on sale near November 16th, 2011.

I always crack-up every time I see Harley Quinn with her giant-mallet hammer, ha! It's Classic! Well, some news from DC Direct shows us this brand-new DC UNIVERSE ONLINE STATUE of HARLEY QUINN based on the comic book art of Jim Lee. Now of course we're talking about the DCU Online Video Game. This is a nice series of statues with a lot of Batman-related characters. It's hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain and measuring approximately 7" high x 4 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" deep. It will be a Limited Edition Statue, with an estimated retail price of $90.00, and will go on sale around November 16th, 2011.

1966 BATMAN TV SHOW Free Flash Video Game

A friend of mine over at the 1966 Batman Message Board shared this link he found of a very cool '66 BATMAN-Themed Video Game he found online. It's one of those "Free Flash Games" you see a lot & this one was created by TV LAND awhile back to promote the fact that they had the Batman TV series & Movie on their channel. It's called "BAT-ATTACK, The Road To Gotham". To be honest, it's really sort of cheesy, ha! But if you're a Batman Fan it's actually kind of fun to play. Video: BATMAN vs MR. CLEAN Wrestling Championship Video Game Footage!

Here's a funny video where characters in a Wrestling Video Game have been replaced by MODS. Basically, a "mod" is a program source-code that gamers share to place within a video game to replace the look of certain characters. This one used Batman & Mr. Clean! It's kinda funny to watch. Surprise! The sequel to the best super hero game of all time is on the way. That game of course is BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM!! It looks like, because of the success of the 1st one, they're gonna make a sequel...AWESOME!! The temporary title is "Arkham Asylum 2" but it looks like it will feature Gotham City as the playing ground...can't wait! This Teaser Trailer looks great!
