Ernest's Custom BATMAN Bat-Signal TRUCK LIGHTS!

OK, you might remember some photos the other day of Ernest's Batman Toy Collection. He has some really great stuff but 1 item made me sort of curious & I asked him about those. They were these "Custom Bat-Signal Light Covers". I wondered what they actually look like ON his truck & he was generous enough to take the time to shoot these very cool pics! Thanks Ernest. These Batman Light Covers are a very clever idea! I mean, some Car Accessory Company should totally make these! They look pretty cool during the day but when they are lit-up at night they're really great! The bat-shapes hold-up very well & I have to wonder if they project a bat-signal on to another surface, that's funny! I know the "night time" photo must have been hard to get but it turned out great, thanks! Readers, he even shot some pics of the trucks interior where he has Batman Floor Mats, Batman Steering Wheel Cover, & a Bat-Symbol Keychain hanging from his rear-view mirror. These are all items you can find at your local Auto Parts Stores ( I have some floor mats that are sort of like these, just a little different. I like the ones that Ernest has a lot better! ).

NEW BATMAN & BATGIRL ONESIES - Baby Toddler Clothing

Awhile back we did a story here at the Bat-Blog about some New DC Comics BATMAN Baby / Toddler Clothes they had at Target. It was a cute little Baby-Sized T-Shirt with the Batman Logo on it. Well, yesterday I received an e-mail from a girl named Tracy who said she didn't have a Target in her area & she asked if I knew of any other sources. Plus, she also asked if I knew about anything that was even smaller, like for a tiny baby. So after a little research, this is what I found. Here are 3 different Batman-Style Onesies each with their own style. The 1st one is black with the yellow oval-shaped Bat-Symbol. The 2nd one is light-gray with a Batman Comic Book logo that says, "BATMAN IN TRAINING". Now both of these would be appropriate for a small boy or girl but the next one, the 3rd pic, is really for a girl because it's the "Batgirl Outfit". It's also light-gray & has a bright yellow bat-symbol. Now, I already sent this information to Tracy ( she didn't specify if it was a boy or girl & later I found out it was a girl so that's cool because they have the "Batgirl Costume" ). Then I got to thinking that maybe there are some other readers out there with a similar question but didn't ask so...here ya go! WOW, Since we have not posted a Batman Tattoo Photo in awhile I thought it would be a good idea to do one today! This photo was sent to us by a new friend we met at MySpace. His page is called "WicketToys" & he is totally into photography. He's also a Major Toy Collector. His main focus seems to be the line of Hot Toys Figures. But, wait a minute, back to the Bat-Tattoo, haha! As you can see by the photo, it's a small "Bat-Symbol Logo" on the back of his neck. I like the clean design, very simple. BATMAN TATTOO ART : Vintage Bat-Logo 1989 Movie & The Dark Knight

A friend over at MySpace sent me this photo of an amazing Batman Tattoo he recently got. He explained that as a child he grew up on the "Tim Burton version" of Batman & he also loves the new Christopher Nolan Batman movies. So...he got them BOTH! As you can see, the new DARK KNIGHT bat-logo is crashing through the old 1989 movie Bat-Symbol. WOW! It looks pretty cool & I gotta give the artist credit for doing something very original. Thanks Vincent for sharing this photo. The Bat-Blog is all about the love of the Batman character & this really shows it.

HEY! It's Desmond, The Littlest Batman Fan!

Alright! Late last night I got a new photo of our little buddy Desmond in my email box. That always makes me happy because he's such a cool kid! He's shown here in some new BATMAN Pajamas he got last Christmas. They have a vintage style to them ( think of the ones your Grandpa wore, ha ) & they're completely covered with Batman Bat-Symbol Logos!! Oh man, I'm totally jealous! Hey Desmond, I don't have any cool sleepwear like this! I might have to come over to your house & steal these, ha! I wanna thank his parents for sending the sweet picture. It's nice to see the little guy again & he's still totally adorable. In fact, maybe even a little bit more!

CUSTOM BATMOBILE CAR: 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante!

A Bat-Blog Fan named, literally, "Some Random Guy" sent us this photo of his 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante that he just started to customize. So far the car is black & gray with a cool Batman Bat-Symbol Logo painted on the hood. He said even though he is going to keep the design very simple, there are a few more things he is going to do & then he will send more pics of the finished product. That's cool. Here are 2 recently found photos of Batman-Related Tattoos that are pretty darn cool. I especially like the one of Catwoman. It was done by Bryant Mickler of Psycho Tattoo in Sandy Springs, GA. Bloomingdale's BATMAN High-End Fashion Clothing!

Here's a post done for the Bat-Blog Readers out there who make tons of money! We reported awhile back how Bloomingdale's Department Stores are helping DC Comics celebrate their 75th Anniversary by having a few special Superhero T-Shirts. Well, they have expanded that line of products with a few other articles of clothing. Here are some Batman Socks, Bat-Symbol Necktie, & even a Cashmere Scarf with a cool graphic of our favorite Caped Crusader! Now, why did I mention the "lots of money" part? Well, the socks are $30.00, the Tie is $125.00, & the Scarf is $225.00 -- OUCH! But, I gotta admit, that Bat-Scarf is pretty cool!

OKLAHOMA OU SOONERS BAND MAKES BAT-SYMBOL

OK, I'm not a big football fan but here in Oklahoma we have a great college football team called the OU Sooners! A friend of mine sent me this photo showing the football band making a Batman Symbol during half-time, I wish I could have seen that!! Check out the pic, it looks pretty cool... GO BIG RED! BATMAN + NOLA ( New Orleans ) = DATMAN T-Shirt!

Here at the Bat-Blog we're HUGE Fans of anything related to New Orleans, it's a really GREAT city! Well, recently we came across this hilarious Parody Souvenir T-Shirt for NOLA called "DATMAN". Here's some pretty cool Batman Tattoo photos from 2 different guys I met on the internet who are extremely serious about being Batman Fans...Ya gotta love that! One is an arm band with the Bat-Symbol Logo, it also features the Gotham City skyline. The other tattoo is a colored full-figure shot of Batman leaping on his prey( this is on his lower leg )! Both look really great & were very well done. Thanx for sharing these great pics guys!

Actress Mary Louise Parker...Bat-Babe!

I have always liked the actress Mary Louise Parker. She's smart, funny, talented, & extremely HOT! I can't remember what TV Show ( or Movie ) I first saw her in but I've always thought she was super-cute, from day one! For the last few years she has been staring in a TV series on Showtime called WEEDS & it's a pretty good show. I've only seen a few episodes, because I don't have that cable channel, but I do plan on renting the entire thing someday. But anyway, last night I was surfing the web & just randomly came upon one of those celebrity news websites. Now, personally, I don't really care about what new purse Paris Hilton is sporting or who Britney Spears is dating, that's so lame. But when I scrolled down I saw this photo...Hubba Hubba! It's Mary Louise Parker wearing a Batman Bat-Symbol Logo T-Shirt! Now, is she really a Batman Fan or did some publicist say, "18-45 yr old nerds will think you're sexy in this shirt, blah, blah". OK, I proudly fit that demographic & I agree, she does look extremely HOT, ha ha! Of course she would look great wearing anything. ( Oh, I'm trying to bring back the phrase "Hubba Hubba" so please use it in a conversation soon ). I hope she's wearing this T-Shirt because, in real life, she's a Batman Fan...that would be so cool!

CURI, The Coolest Bat-Cat in Town!

Here's a really nice set of photos sent in by our friend Jessica. This is her "Bat-Cat" named CURI. I bet you noticed that awesome Batman Bat-Symbol Logo Pet Tag, right? She explains, "When the Dark Knight movie was first released in theaters, PetSmart had a limited edition dog tag. It engraved your information, or pet's information, in gold on the back and was tres chic with the bat symbol on the front." Yeah, I gotta agree with her that it is pretty cool. Back then, a few months ago, I went to a ton of stores trying to find this tag. Finally did & bought the very last one. A few weeks later our dog was stolen & this Bat-Tag actually was the main purpose for the phone call we got from the "PET LOST" wanted poster that got her back. So, for me, personally seeing this tag again is really nice. I mean, it saved my dog's life! But that's a whole other story I plan to share later. Right now I wanna thank Jessica for sharing these super-cute pics, Curi looks like an awesome cat, & I appreciate you taking the time to send them!! Vintage 1966 Batman Toys - Plush Doll, Hankercheif, & Purse!

Shown up above are three really great & super-rare Vintage Batman Toys I recently received pix of. The 1st one is a Batman Plush Doll made by The Commonwealth Co in 1966. He measures about 18" tall & is pretty huge, like a big teddy bear! The 2nd photo is a child's hankerchief sent in by a loyal BAT-BLOG reader named John ( Thanx John! ). Even though the item is slightly faded it's still very hard to find & I love the vintage graphics anyway! OK, Now, I think the last item is the best & the most RARE! It's a Black Leather Purse in the shape of the Bat-Symbol & still has it's original sticker which is always gone! My lady collects Vintage Purses & would flip over this, it's really really cool! A Very Cool Custom Batman Movie-Inspired Electric Guitar

Here are some really nice photos of a wonderful custom paint job for an electric guitar. It now has a "Batman Theme" that seems to have been inspired by the new THE DARK KNIGHT movie. It was made during the summer by a friend named Vince. I think it's pretty cool! On the front he painted a sunburst pattern with a Bat-Symbol Logo near the bottom. There is also a batsymbol on the back too. One thing to notice also is the very end of the neck was carved into a bat shape, a nice detail there! Overall it came out really great & is now a beautiful piece of art. The cool thing...it can play some serious music too! Thank you Vince for sharing these pics with us. You did an awesome job on this & you should be very proud. You ROCK, Sir!
