NEW BATMAN & BATGIRL ONESIES - Baby Toddler Clothing

Awhile back we did a story here at the Bat-Blog about some New DC Comics BATMAN Baby / Toddler Clothes they had at Target. It was a cute little Baby-Sized T-Shirt with the Batman Logo on it. Well, yesterday I received an e-mail from a girl named Tracy who said she didn't have a Target in her area & she asked if I knew of any other sources. Plus, she also asked if I knew about anything that was even smaller, like for a tiny baby. So after a little research, this is what I found. Here are 3 different Batman-Style Onesies each with their own style. The 1st one is black with the yellow oval-shaped Bat-Symbol. The 2nd one is light-gray with a Batman Comic Book logo that says, "BATMAN IN TRAINING". Now both of these would be appropriate for a small boy or girl but the next one, the 3rd pic, is really for a girl because it's the "Batgirl Outfit". It's also light-gray & has a bright yellow bat-symbol. Now, I already sent this information to Tracy ( she didn't specify if it was a boy or girl & later I found out it was a girl so that's cool because they have the "Batgirl Costume" ). Then I got to thinking that maybe there are some other readers out there with a similar question but didn't ask so...here ya go! Marvin Law's Special BATMAN KIDS STORY Comic Book Artwork

The 3 Batman Comic Book Pages you see here were a part of the CAPMA Promo Awards event. They offered a custom comic book story as a prize during the intermission. These were drawn by our friend Marvin Law who said, "It was an interesting challenge to draw a short story that was finished in just 3 pages, and featured no violence whatsoever." That is cool! Thanks Marvin for the update & sending the nice pics. Yes, the artwork is really great & I like how the entire story is told with NO words. The pictures just speak for themselves...great job! Little Kid's BATMAN FLIK FLAK WATCH Child-Size

I have a friend who lives in Bulgaria & he told me that they got a new BATMAN WATCH at the store his Mother works at. I'm talking about a company called FLIK FLAK WATCHES. They are owned by the famous SWATCH WATCH Company & make very high-quality products. Well, this year they made a special Batman Child-Size Wristwatch & it's awesome...check out the pics! HEY! It's Desmond, The Littlest Batman Fan!

Alright! Late last night I got a new photo of our little buddy Desmond in my email box. That always makes me happy because he's such a cool kid! He's shown here in some new BATMAN Pajamas he got last Christmas. They have a vintage style to them ( think of the ones your Grandpa wore, ha ) & they're completely covered with Batman Bat-Symbol Logos!! Oh man, I'm totally jealous! Hey Desmond, I don't have any cool sleepwear like this! I might have to come over to your house & steal these, ha! I wanna thank his parents for sending the sweet picture. It's nice to see the little guy again & he's still totally adorable. In fact, maybe even a little bit more!

Every year, close to Christmas, I always get totally excited about the TOYS FOR TOTS organization. Seriously, it's a wonderful charity. It's run by the US Marine Corp & they help underprivileged children try to have a decent Christmas. The basic idea is that they have Donation Boxes all over the place where you can drop off any packaged toy. Then, these toys are sorted & delivered to poor children. Think about Christmas times you have had in the past where you got a lot of cool stuff. There are many kids who don't get anything at all. This is so wrong! I have always thought that this holiday is "all about the kids". So, while you're out there at the malls, buying a bunch of crap you don't really need, please buy at least one packaged toy that you can drop-off at their box. You'll feel really great about it & it will seriously help a small child. Who knows, it might even change their life! One last thing, this message goes out to my Toy Collector & Toy Dealer Friends who might not be able to afford to buy new toys or donate cash: If you have some Sealed Action Figures & Barbies you don't care about anymore or some "old toy stock" that is gathering dust. We all remember being a little kid & tying a towel around our necks to be Batman, hee hee. So, about once a week I'll post a wacky picture found on the internet of somebody all dressed up. I think it's funny to see adults dressed up & the little kids are very sweet....future Batman Collectors!

LITTLE JACK is a BIG BATMAN FAN!!

YES!! For a few days now I have been dying to get this photo posted! This is a picture sent in by our friend Neal of his cute 3 year old nephew Jack. It looks like we have a Major Batman Fan right here!! I totally love this photo. I mean, if you don't think it's the coolest thing you have seen in a very long time then you just have no soul, ha ha! C'mon, This little kid is extremely awesome!! As a side note, I love the fact that he has his trusty Bat-Cycle just to the left of him. You know, just in case he needs to run to the scene of a new crime to catch the Joker, ha ha! ( Thanks to Neal for sharing this wonderful pic. Please tell Jack that he is great! ).

Vintage 1970's "Kid in Superman Costume" Family Photo

Our friend Brian sent this very cool vintage photo of himself when he was a little kid in the early 1970's. It's him dressed-up in his Superman superhero outfit. I know it's not "Batman-related" but it's still kinda funny & very cool! Brian wrote, "I'm sending a new photo of myself just for fun. It's me in the Superman costume from the vintage Batman/Superman costume ad that you posted a few days ago. This is from about 1972 or 73 complete with 70's wood paneling and a Spock haircut. :) It looks like they dropped the red shorts portion of the costume by the time I got my hands on one. I know this isn't appropriate for the Bat-Blog since it's not really Batman related. I just thought you might get a kick out of seeing this." Ha Ha Ha, Yes! Thanks for sending this Brian. The old photo and Superman costume are really really great ( I love old pics like this )! Kid's BATMOBILE CAR BED & DRESSER For Cool Batman Bedroom!

Here are 2 pics I came across on eBay the other day ( I think these items are still on there if you're interested ). It's for a custom-made Batmobile Car Bed & a Batman Dresser. WOW, These are really cool & I know that when I was a little kid I would have gone nuts over that Batmobile Bed, ha ha! And actually that "Batman Dresser" with the Bat-Symbol design is pretty cool for my current room. What?! You know you want one! Have you done some decorating with a Batman theme? BATMAN & THE JOKER: Cool Kid's Halloween Costumes & Jack O' Lantern Pumpkins

WHY SO SERIOUS? A Fan of the Bat-Blog, named Carl, was kind enough to send us these really neat photos of his 2 nephews wearing their Batman & Joker Halloween Costumes. Their names are Billy ( Batman ) & Victor ( The Joker ). They picked THE DARK KNIGHT movie versions which is pretty cool. Their costumes look really great, especially the Joker make-up. Also, to keep-up the holiday spirit in the name of Batman, they carved these extremely awesome BATMAN & JOKER Jack O' Lantern Pumpkins. Good Job Guys, they seriously look spooky!! Batman's Secret Identity Revealed - His Name is MASON!

Here's an extremely wonderful photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named David. It shows his beautiful one month old Son Mason sporting one of the onesies that Mason's Mom picked up from Kmart. The great thing, it's made to look like a Batman Bat-Suit Costume! Thank you David for sharing this very sweet family moment. Your Mason IS a true Superhero!! I mean, "He is The Dark Knight!"

BATMAN COSTUME: ROBIN OUTFIT, The Tim Drake Comic Book Version!!

I totally like this kid because he's so cool! This photo was sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Reader named Derek. Now, this is not him, but it's his Brother! This photo was taken in the 1990's when his Brother dressed up as Robin ( the 90's Tim Drake version ) for a Hometown Christmas Parade. The outfit is totally & completely AWESOME! When I was a little kid I would have killed to have a Halloween Costume this great, ha ha! Thank you Derek for sending this, I appreciate it a lot & please tell your Brother that he USED to be cool, but you're wondering what happened, ha ha.

Just a quick post to let "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" Cartoon Fans know that there is now a Set of Bedding to purchase. It comes in both Twin & Full Size. You get a Comforter, Top Sheet, Bottom Sheet, & 2 Pillowcases. I'm really loving the graphics on this thing. It features Batman, Aquaman, Blue Beetle, & Red Tornado! I might have to get one for my room, ha ha!

Some New Batman Products From The Pottery Barn

If you visit the Pottery Barn online store, in the kid's section, they have some new Batman products that are actually pretty cool! ( Plus, it's kinda weird that they would be selling "Batman stuff" ). The 1st photo shows the array of home accessories you can buy to make your kid's bedroom look like DC Superheroes. I like the Gotham City skyline mural on the wall. There are some pillows & sheets that look very nice. The sheets have vintage-retro graphics on them & I really like those a lot! I might have to get some for my bed, ha ha! Then, I don't know what this has to do with decorating, but they have an awesome Batman Floor Puzzle that is a replica of the very 1st issue of Batman. It measures about 2 foot X 3 foot ( pretty BIG ) & would look cool as a wall hanging or to have framed for the wall. It's kinda pricey though, at $19.00. How To Decorate a Child's Bedroom or a Big Kid's Office with Batman Wall Stickers.

Surfing the internet the other day I came across a company called FATHEAD who makes an extremely cool product for decorating a kid's play room or man's office. The item they make is a very large GIANT-SIZE super-high-quality wall sticker that you can easily put on the wall of any game room, den, bedroom, or living room. Most of their stickers are sports-related heroes from Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Nascar, etc...but recently they started to make superhero stickers & some of the characters they have are Superman, Spiderman, The Hulk, The Fantastic Four, The X-Men, & even our favorite hero, The Batman!! I'm thinking about getting the HUGE Batman Symbol Logo for my 2 nephews who share a bedroom. They're big Batman Fans & I know thy would freak-out over one of these, ha ha! New BATMAN CLOTHING For Children To Look For at Wal-Mart

I stay awake at night tossing & turning because I worry if Wal-Mart is making enough money. So, I decided to do this post to help them out, ha ha! No, not really, actually our good friend THE BATFAN recently went on a wacky crazy shopping spree & found a lot of very cool Batman merchandise he wanted to share. Now, he mostly buys toys & other cool bat-collectibles, but when he came across these kid's clothes with these amazing Batman graphics, he HAD to get them! What you see here is an almost complete outfit ( at least for the Summer Swimming Pool ). Here's a Batman Baseball Cap & Swim Trunks. They both feature vintage 1980's comic book artwork by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez! Anybody familiar with this artist knows how good his stuff is. I like the hat but the graphics on the shorts are really really great! Too bad they're only children-sized or else I would buy a pair for myself. "Who's the cutest little Batman in all the world? You are! Yes, You are!", ha ha! The Bat-Blog has a MySpace page that we use for promotional purposes. I call it my "propaganda"! While surfing there the other day I came across this photo of an adorable little kid dressed like Batman. It's one of those small child-size Halloween Costumes that are kinda neat. I knew instantly that I had to contact the person who owned that page & beg them if I could post it here. He's a cute kid & seeing him dressed up like Batman is kinda funny! They were extremely cool about it & said, "Yes, please do". So, here's a photo of the cutest kid to ever dress-up as the Dark Knight...Baby Batman! POW! Batman-inspired Graphic Art at Target Retail Stores!

A friend of mine over at a Message Board I belong to found these POP ART Wall Hangings the other night at a Target Store. They're in their "Decorating Interior Design" area where they have a bunch of Clocks, Lamps, Framed Pictures & other Home Accessories. They're designed to look a lot like the 1966 Batman TV Show where they had POW! & BANG! appear on the screen. OK, how fun is that?! Now while they are not exactly "Batman merchandise" they are still kind of cool! If anything these would be great for a little kid's bedroom or baby nursery room. Let me know if you get any.
