MacGruber Movie Wallpaper 2010

On the June 1, 2009 episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Will Forte announced that MacGruber had been greenlit and production was to begin on August 9th, with Fallon adding (in the July 29th episode) that it would be filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cameos by WWE Superstars Chris Jericho, The Big Show, Mark Henry, Kane, M.V.P. and The Great Khali, and actor Derek Mears, were later confirmed.

Although the film had a release date of May 21, 2010, the film was originally scheduled for an April 23 release.

Do you like watch movie? that mean we have same hobby. I like watch all movie. Specialize action movie. Last week i see Robin Hood. That very cool movie. The movie Robin Hood is starring Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, Matthew Macfadyen, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Lea Seydoux, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle, Danny Huston and Max von Sydow. But my favorite movie is Matrix. What about you?

New Batman COMIC BOOK BATMOBILE 1:50 Scale by Hot Wheels!

Out in stores right now but extremely hard-to-find is this brand-new COMIC BOOK BATMOBILE Car by Hot Wheels. It's 1:50th Scale so if you remember the old Corgi Cars it's about that size. I love that they used the modern day comic book logo for the header card. Actually, I still need this one for my collection. I also need the Dark Knight TUMBLER Car too. In 20+ years of collecting I have learned to be patient & it will pop-up. They have these at Amazon for $7.99 which is only about a dollar more than regular retail. The savings in gas cost alone makes it worth it, I might get it there.

Artist Eric Maruscak Creates Batman Mural with Chalk!

If you go to a lot of comic book conventions then you might have been lucky enough to view the "mural" artwork of Eric Maruscak in person. Eric creates HUGE works of art, in chalk, on the sidewalks near many events. The photo up above shows one he did recently. It features The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones, & Ironman. He did this both for the love of the characters & to celebrate the fact that there has finally been some really great movies this year. OK, I haven't seen the Indiana Jones movie yet but I can say that Ironman was pretty awesome! And of course you know that I love TDK, ha ha! I'm curious if any other readers have seen this guy's work. If so then please comment down below. THE DARK KNIGHT: Magazine Publishers Go Batty!

In both July & August almost every single magazine on the newsstand had Batman and/or the Joker on the cover! It seemed like every magazine publisher in the world wanted to capitalize on the success of The Dark Knight movie. Who could blame them? This film has a lot of fans! The Brand-New DARK KNIGHT BATMAN MOVIE TRAILER Never Seen Before!

HA HA, made you look! I got this funny photo from a Bat-Blog Reader the other day & laughed so hard that I nearly shot coffee out of my nose! The title to the e-mail said "Brand New DARK KNIGHT Movie Trailer" & I got extremely excited! I thought, "WOW, a new trailer, this is awesome!". So, I wanna thank Jeff for sending me this hilarious photo...you got me! I hope that by posting it here I fooled some of you too, ha ha ha ha!

NEW BATMAN TOYS: Carrera GO ( 1:43 Scale ) Slot Car Racing Set

I already have way too many "collecting hobbies" that I can barely afford or else I would start to collect slot cars, ha ha. I have always thought they are pretty cool. Here's a nice example. In Germany there's a classic slot car toy company called CARRERA who specializes in high-quality slot car sets. The cars they make are extremely well-detailed. Later this year, around June or July, they're gonna release the Carrera GO (1:43 Scale) Batman "Hyperdrive Batmobile" & Joker-Mobile Slot Car Racing Set! The photos up above show the actual boxed race car set & then the 2 cars. ( In Germany they call the Batman's car the "Batmobil", I like that ). You also get a ton of track & everything to make a complete race set. I am also posting a photo of the "Banester" slot car that is modeled after BANE, a Batman Villain. This car is NOT included in this set but was one I found during my research. RARE VINTAGE BATMAN TOYS and MEMORABILIA COLLECTION Wallpaper

OK, Right off the bat I wanna say that the above photo is actually made into a "Desktop Wallpaper", for those interested, & it's kinda cool. The thing is, a new friend to the Bat-Blog named JR, sent me a really big photo of his amazing Vintage Batman Toy Collection. But, the picture deserves to be seen large just so you can focus on all the stuff here...it's amazing! This is an extremely impressive gathering of Bat-Memorabilia. There's a ton of vintage 60's items mixed with stuff from last week, I like that. There's also a few pieces that are extremely RARE! I spent a lot of time looking at every single clue as to what each item was & there's a lot of high-quality stuff here. What many Toy Collectors call "Museum Pieces". Oh sure, a couple of things are kinda common. We all have stuff like that because it's neat to have & you can usually find it at a garage sale for cheap. But, there's some other collectibles here that I will never get ( or see in "real life" )...unless I win the lottery! Thank you JR for sharing this pic with us. You have a nice collection to be vey proud of. Personally, I hope you send us more photos!! hint, hint.

Batman Fan Wears Awesome Joker Costume To THE DARK KNIGHT Movie Opening!

A Bat-Blog Reader named Brad wrote us this letter, "Here is my best friend, Jay, dressed as The Joker for the opening night of “The Dark Knight” in Eugene, Oregon at Cinemark Theaters. Jay stayed in character for the entire film, handing out playing cards, & asking everyone, “why so serious?” Ha Ha, Thanks Brad. Please tell Jay that his costume is awesome & the make-up looks pretty good too. I love to see fans get serious! ( Excuse the pun ). This must have been a lot of fun for you guys & I bet it made the movie experience a lot better for many who got to meet "The Joker". Also, handing out playing cards was a great idea. Thanks again for sending the story & cool photo, I appreciate that. One other thing, is Jay still wearing that same outfit today? If so, tell him he is not the "real" Joker! ( I'm kidding, ha ha ).
