Aaron's BATMAN AND JOKER TATTOO ART Photos

Hey Boys & Girls, it's time again for another awesome example of Batman Tattoo Art! This photo was submitted by our good friend Aaron. It shows an all-around design that features Batman, Joker, & the Bat-Signal in the Sky of Gotham City...it's beautiful! The Joker is the "Heath Ledger" version from The Dark Knight movie. I really like the colors in this thing, very vivid. Plus, the Bat-Signal sort of has a translucent effect that makes it look less solid & more like "light"...nice! Free BATMAN Desktop Backgrounds "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"

The Bat-Blog is famous for it's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" event that happens, you guessed it, every Wednesday! Ha Ha, this week I thought I would try to mix it up a little bit & have 3 wallpapers ( we usually post 2 ) because I'm all crazy like that. Plus, I wanted to mix it up another way & have them all be radically different...or as different as possible but still keep them all Batman-related, whew! So, HERE...WE...GO! The 1st one uses an amazing piece of "Heath Ledger The Dark Knight Joker" artwork that was submitted by a reader named DC Miller. His work is incredible & I knew it had to be presented as a wallpaper. In order to place the image on the right-hand side I had to flip it but it looks great! ( Thanks DC for sending the art ). The 2nd one is a photo of Adam West from the cover of the March 11th, 1966 Issue of LIFE Magazine. This image is totally iconic...a masterpiece! The last one uses what is probably the most recent version of Batman & that's the character from the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD cartoon. This photo is pretty funny! It was sent in by our Good Friend Guenter who lives in Germany. The photo is of his lovely Daughter who recently visited California. Heath Ledger Autographed Bowling Pin Spotted in Famous New York City Landmark!

Here's a great story! We have 2 friends named Dave & Lisa who live near New York City, about 35 minutes west of Manhattan. They both recently decided to check out the Spider-Man Broadway Musical that's going on. Around the corner they visited a famous Bowling Alley called BOWLMOR LANES ( See the Classic Neon Sign in the 1st pic... beautiful ). While there they noticed this HEATH LEDGER Autographed Bowling Pin! This place has a display case where they feature celebrity-Signed Pins. Heath Ledger's Bowling Pin is placed right between Lady Gaga & Usher, ha ha! Hey, this is "Batman-related" & pretty interesting too. Thanks to Dave & Lisa for sending the fun pics.

Batman Toy: THE JOKER Nestle Cereal Box Premium WALLPAPER BACKGROUND

Awhile back I got an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Fan who took a few photos of her favorite Batman Toys. Well, actually they were mostly toys of the Joker, but you get the idea! Her name is Biadza & this is a photo of THE JOKER ( Heath Ledger version ) Cereal Premium Figure in her collection. The pic was kinda BIG so I thought it would make a pretty cool Desktop Wallpaper Background. This is the Free Toy inside THE DARK KNIGHT Cereal Box Promo that Nestle did when the movie was going on. Now the extra cool thing is that she lives in Paris. So, this is the European version of that toy. Like the ones in the USA, there were 4 figures to collect but there they were slightly different. Plus, they made one of The Scarecrow which was not even available here. Thank you Biadza for sending the pics. I plan to post the other ones later so keep an eye out for those. I want to invite other Bat-Blog Readers to share pics of their toy collections too. I always love to see what other people have, ha ha!

BATMAN ANIMALS Funny Humor Photos!

OK, I knew I had to put all these photos together because they sort of create a "theme" I like to call FUNNY BATMAN ANIMALS. The 1st photo cracks me up every time I see it! Looks like somebody dressed up their dog as Batman! I think these "Pet Costumes" are totally ridiculous but ya gotta admit they are kinda cute! The 2nd photo is very clever. Somebody make a "Custom My Little Pony" to look just like the "Heath Ledger Joker" from the Dark Knight Batman movie. The details are pretty good, especially the clothing. Hasbro should make one of these for real! The last photo is not a "custom toy", like the pony, but a real-life product you can buy for your Teddy Bear. There's a chain of stores in the US called "Build-A-Bear" where you go &, as a craft project, you stuff your very own teddy bear. They also sell outfits for your creations & one of them is the Batman Bat-Suit ( The Dark Knight version ). So, I hope somebody out there enjoys this wacky post! Wacky BATMAN, CATWOMAN, & JOKER PRODUCTS on Etsy Website

There's a website called ETSY where artists & crafts people display their wares. Everything there is homemade & it's a great place to find very unique gifts. They have clothing, T-Shirts, Purses, Handbags, Jewelry, etc...tons of clever stuff. While visiting the site the other day I saw a few Batman-inspired pieces. Some of them were quite good. A nice example is the JOKER RAG DOLL made to look like the Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight Batman movie...very cool! There was a giant-sized BATMAN PINATA HEAD that is both humorous & functional, a great birthday party decoration idea. The last photo shows a Custom Munny Figure made to look like Catwoman, the leatherclad Michelle Pfeiffer version...PURRRFECT! So, if you need ideas for holiday gift giving this Christmas be sure to "Buy Homemade".

BATMAN and THE JOKER More Halloween Costumes!

Man, it looks like this Halloween people went crazy over Batman! Here's 2 sets of photos sent in by some Bat-Blog Readers who dressed up this holiday. The 1st one is a very nice Batman Costume put together with different pieces. Some store bought, some homemade. But the overall effect is really great! The funny thing about this picture is that he took his photo in the mirror with the DARK KNIGHT Nokia Camera Phone...Now, that's staying in character! The 2nd group of pics is from a reader named Sean who, this year, went as the "NURSE JOKER". Of course it's the Heath Ledger TDK version where he dressed as a nurse to visit Two-Face. He admitted it's not totally authentic but who cares...it works! It looked like these people had a lot of fun this year, that's great! ART: The Most Elaborate BATMAN COMIC BOOK TATTOO I Have Ever Seen!!

OK, The Bat-Blog is sort of famous for posting Batman-related tattoos that readers send in. We get one every now & then but this one is totally crazy! Of course I mean "crazy" in a good way, ha ha! This is the most elaborate one I have ever seen...EVER! It belongs to a new friend named Damien who actually went to a Tattoo Convention & had a few different Tattoo Artists do this all in one day!! There are images of Batman, Heath Ledger Joker, Batgirl, Riddler, Bat-Symbol, Comic Book Logo, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy's Lips, a Back & White Comic Book Page ( Animated Series Two-Face ), an Homage to Carmine Infantino, & much more!!
