Wacky BATMAN, CATWOMAN, & JOKER PRODUCTS on Etsy Website

There's a website called ETSY where artists & crafts people display their wares. Everything there is homemade & it's a great place to find very unique gifts. They have clothing, T-Shirts, Purses, Handbags, Jewelry, etc...tons of clever stuff. While visiting the site the other day I saw a few Batman-inspired pieces. Some of them were quite good. A nice example is the JOKER RAG DOLL made to look like the Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight Batman movie...very cool! There was a giant-sized BATMAN PINATA HEAD that is both humorous & functional, a great birthday party decoration idea. The last photo shows a Custom Munny Figure made to look like Catwoman, the leatherclad Michelle Pfeiffer version...PURRRFECT! So, if you need ideas for holiday gift giving this Christmas be sure to "Buy Homemade".

BATMAN MUNNY ACTION FIGURE and Custom Batmobile Car

A good friend to the Bat-Blog, named Billy, sent us these amazing photos he found on the internet the other day. They show a Customized Munny Figure made to look like Batman, only cuter! But the artist didn't stop there. He ( or she ) also made a custom Batmobile Car! Both the figure & vehicle look extremely awesome! I really like the small details like the bat-belt. I also love the "cartoon-look" & the Batmobile really reminds me of the one used in the 1989 Batman Movie, except it's super-cute! Thanks for sharing these pics Billy. NEW BATMAN BACKGROUNDS Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

Hey Kids, it's Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday! We got some really great Batman Backgrounds this week so get ready! The 1st one uses some promo art from the new DC Universe Online game. It's a beautiful pin-up of the super villain Poison Ivy, hubba hubba! The next one is a close-up shot of a Custom Batman Munny Figure that was customized by a friend of the Bat-Blog ( He did a really great job on it ). I thought that both of these images would make fun wallpapers. What do you think? Listen, you guys need to let me know which wallpapers you like the best or maybe which characters you would like to see. Ya know, I'm always trying to make the Bat-Blog the best fan site ever & I do need feedback every now & then, ha! THE JOKER Munny Figure & Batman / Joker Sneakers by Zac Conley!

I have said many times that if the Bat-Blog is any good at all it's because of the readers. They always send me really great material! Here's the perfect example: The other day I came across this Joker Munny Figure on the internet. I tracked down the artist & told him, "You better send me some pics, ha ha!". Well, graciously, he did. This is Zac Conley's Custom JOKER Munny Figure. It's pretty cool. I love the demonic expression on his face, like he's ready to kill somebody, actually he's kinda scary! Zac also made some Custom Sneakers with a Batman & Joker motif. I thought it was sort-of funny how his photos break down the fact that "this is the right foot & this is the left"...but, that's clever. Anyway, these shoes are too good to wear & should be displayed as ART! Good job Zac & thanks for sending the pics. Now I don't have to come to your house to beat you up!

BATMAN and ROBIN Retired Senior Citizens MUNNY FIGURES

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, whew! Oh man, when I saw these they cracked me up! Here's a set of customized MUNNY FIGURES made to look like Batman & Robin, if they were very old senior citizens. They were made by an artist named "Montreal Munny". I found these over at a website called TOY CUTTER that is basically all about the urban toys fad. One of the things in that sub-culture is to take these blank figures that are called "Munnys" & totally make them custom to your own ideas. They have HUGE contests where artists display their creations. I think these were from a show at the famous urban toy store called KID ROBOT. I love these, they're hilarious. I also like that they limited the palette to just black, white, & grays ( with a little bit of YELLOW )...that's great. Is that suppose to make you think of "B&W TV" or an old vintage photograph? Very cool.

JOKER MUNNY FIGURE : HEATH LEDGER The Dark Knight

Over at the ALBOTAS website they do a feature called "Munny Monday". Munny Figures are "teddy bear-looking Lego figures" that are very simple & plain. Then, custom artists paint them up with their own graphic style. It's a pretty interesting concept & there have been a lot of great artwork done with these. Custom Munny Figures - BATMAN and JOKER ( The Dark Knight movie )

Here's a few photos showing a very nice assortment of Custom Munny Action Figures made by a Fan of the Bat-Blog named "MischiefUO". They're really great! He did one of Batman from the modern-day comic book & the rest look like they are toys inspired by The Dark Knight movie. There's a "Bank Robber Joker with Goon-Mask", a "Bruce Wayne" figure with the early bat-suit, & a few different Jokers!
