Last week I posted a few photos from the amazing Original Art Collection of THE BATFAN. He sent us some pictures to share of some recent art he had commissioned by Joe Pekar. That was "Part One", this is Part Two. In this set there are some major Batman Villains: Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, & The Joker. Halloween Costume Photos: The Joker, Poison Ivy, & Little Batman!

OK, ever since Halloween ended we have been flooded with tons of wonderful photos of Batman Fans from all over the world who dressed up in costume as their favorite Batman characters, that's AWESOME! Now here's a set of pics that is really great. Why? Well one reason would be that the costumes are very well done but the main thing is that Gary & his wife, Clara, introduced their 3 year old nephew into the world of Batman by actually making him...Batman! Gary dressed up as The Joker, Clara was Poison Ivy, & their cool nephew got to be "The Caped Crusader" himself! We all know that this will ALWAYS be a wonderful memory for the cute little kid, that's great. I bet everybody had a total blast! That is so cool! Thank you Gary for sharing these wonderful pictures & story. Please tell Clara she looks great in her costume ( good job ) & tell your nephew that his Batman Costume looks extremely awesome! I also think his Bat-Belt is pretty cool looking! As a side-note, to the readers of this blog, Gary runs a website about all thinks GEEKY! It's called "The Dork Knights". News Break: Two-Face & Poison Ivy Terrorize Oklahoma City!

Last Halloween 2 friends of mine dressed-up as Batman Villains. Their costumes were really well done & here's the photos to prove it! Josh was Two-Face & Jenna was Poison Ivy. I have to admit that both costumes are extremely impressive! Good Job guys & thanks for the cool pics.

Have you seen these Batman Vending Machine Figures?

While surfing the internet the other day I came across this photo of some Batman Vending Machine Figures. There was absolutely NO information about these & I'm wondering if any readers know anything about them. I seriously don't remember ever seeing them before so I think they're totally new & maybe not even out yet. It looks like they're gonna have 7 pieces to collect: Modern Batman, Retro-Style Batman, Robin, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, & The Penguin. If ya ask me, I think they look pretty AWESOME! ART: The Most Elaborate BATMAN COMIC BOOK TATTOO I Have Ever Seen!!

OK, The Bat-Blog is sort of famous for posting Batman-related tattoos that readers send in. We get one every now & then but this one is totally crazy! Of course I mean "crazy" in a good way, ha ha! This is the most elaborate one I have ever seen...EVER! It belongs to a new friend named Damien who actually went to a Tattoo Convention & had a few different Tattoo Artists do this all in one day!! There are images of Batman, Heath Ledger Joker, Batgirl, Riddler, Bat-Symbol, Comic Book Logo, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy's Lips, a Back & White Comic Book Page ( Animated Series Two-Face ), an Homage to Carmine Infantino, & much more!! OK, This thing would be way to complex to explain so I'll just let the photos do the talking. I wanna thank Damien for sharing these photos. Man, your Bat-Tat is INSANE!! It really is a work of ART or, I should say, WORKS of art!

Batman-Themed Christmas Holiday Gingerbread Cookies Art

"Striking gingerbread fear into the hearts of holiday evil-doers!!!" The other day I got an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Reader named Chris who wrote, "I hate Christmas stuff, my wife loves Christmas stuff. Knowing I'm a huge Batman fan she tried to keep me interested this year by suggesting that our family gingerbread decorations be Batman themed. It worked!" Wow, it did work! Chris sent me a link to his newly created website where he & his wife share their gingerbread cookie creations that are all Batman-themed. There are a ton of different characters & it was actually kinda hard to pick a few examples ( like the ones shown here ) but they are ALL really amazing! I like that they did a lot of obscure characters & not just the main-stream ones. But, they did those too, ha ha! There's no way for me to show all the ones they did so you will have to visit their page to see them all. Chris, thanks for sending the link, & tell your wife she's a very talented smart woman!

THE BATMAN Cartoon : New Images From Upcoming TV Season

To be honest I really didn't care for THE BATMAN when it first came out. Seeing the "new" Joker made me kinda mad but last season was pretty good & it appears the show is finally getting a lot better. Here are some new images of what we're gonna see in the near future. His artwork is pretty amazing & rendered with clean lines that are very realistic looking. He has a neat personal style. Batman CUSTOM BATMOBILE: 1965 Shelby Cobra Roadster Race Car

Here's a very beautiful car that was offered on eBay recently. It's a customized 1965 Cobra Shelby Roadster Race Car! The weird thing is that it didn't receive any bids. What the hell?! The starting bid was only $35,000 which I think is a total steal. If you're interested in this car you should keep an eye on eBay because I bet he puts it back on. His name is LIFE_SIZE_FIGURES. I think he got his name from the comic book character manikins you see in the 1st photo because he sells those too. He has a Joker, Poison Ivy, & Wonder Woman that are all life-size. Also, look at that kid in the photo, ha ha! He has an expression on his face like he's totally surprised & shocked....funny!

New Batman Toys : 7 Yamato Figures from Japan

The residents at Gotham City are now available as 4 inch tall figures and each with a bat symbol base! Made by Yamato Japan & distributed by DC Direct. A set of 7 figures contains Robin, Penguin, Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy & 2 versions of Batman.

NEW BATMAN BACKGROUNDS Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

Hey Kids, it's Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday! We got some really great Batman Backgrounds this week so get ready! The 1st one uses some promo art from the new DC Universe Online game. It's a beautiful pin-up of the super villain Poison Ivy, hubba hubba! The next one is a close-up shot of a Custom Batman Munny Figure that was customized by a friend of the Bat-Blog ( He did a really great job on it ). I thought that both of these images would make fun wallpapers. What do you think? Listen, you guys need to let me know which wallpapers you like the best or maybe which characters you would like to see. Ya know, I'm always trying to make the Bat-Blog the best fan site ever & I do need feedback every now & then, ha! High School Students Create Some Amazing Batman-Themed Costumes!

Our friend Lauren sent us a new photo showing some of her friends from High School who all got together & dressed-up as Batman characters. But I don't think it was anything for Halloween. She said something about how they did it for a Dark Knight themed photo album. Well, Lauren, your new mission is to get a hold of THAT photo album!! But all kidding aside these costumes are really totally super-great, every single one of them!! The character list is large & includes: The Riddler, The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, & of course the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin! My 2 top favorite costumes have to be the Penguin & Poison Ivy. You just don't see those 2 characters a lot. Plus, "Penguin accessories" are hard to find. Like, where do you buy a Monocle, Top Hat, & Cigarette Holder nowadays? Ha Ha! Thank you Lauren for sharing this wonderful photo & please be sure to tell all your friends what a great job they did at putting these Batman-themed costumes together...WOW!

Eidos Games released the brand-new BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Video Game on August 25th & people are still going crazy! All the reports that I have been getting so far are saying that this is the BEST Batman and/or Superhero Franchise game yet!!
