The Very VERY FIRST BATMAN Video Game!

This video trailer shows a little bit of game play inside the very 1st Batman Video Game made by Ocean Games ©1986 for the Amstrad CPC System. It's completely crazy that kids used to totally love stuff like this, ha ha! But anyway, if you compare this to the new BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM, then you can for sure see the improvements made within the gaming industry. It kind of makes you think, "What's next?". I think the future will be holographic environments OR they will plug directly INTO the brain!

In this latest video from Eidos Games we get a chance to see some of the amazing GADGETS from the soon-to-be-released BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Video Game. I'm seriously starting to totally fall in love with this game & have not even played it yet! I really like the BATARANG Gadget the best. Well, OK, the Grapeling Gun looks pretty awesome too, ha ha! With a release date of August 25th, 2009 it looks like this will be the 2009 GAME OF THE YEAR!

BATMAN TILESET For Kyodai Mahjongg Game

I opened my e-mail the other day & received this: Hello Bat-Blog, I thought you might like this tileset for the popular free Kyodai Mahjongg game. Here are some sneak peek screenshots from the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Video Game set to be released on September 7th, 2010. It will be made for the Nintendo DS & Wii gaming consoles only ( yeah, major bummer! ). But te graphics here look pretty cool! I know my 2 nephews have a Wii, so this looks like what they might be getting for Christmas. That way, I'll be able to play it, ha ha!

A new friend to the Bat-Blog, named Paul, sent this photo of a new magazine that just hit the newsstands. It's cover features artwork from the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game, that's cool. I'm always posting Batman Desktop Wallpapers & when I do I usually try to go with a "theme". This time I thought I would try to be "Modern". So, for the 1st one, I chose a Batman graphic with a cool color scheme that I thought was very "modern looking". For the next one I wanted to cover the new video game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, because it's something happening to the character right this very minute so that's modern too, right?
