Here's an awesome Paper Craft Toy Figure of Adam West as Batman from the famous 1966 TV Series. The instructions are pretty easy. 1. Print it on card stock, 2. Cut it out, 3. fold & glue. It's an easy as pie. But I gotta warn you that once you start making these paper toys you're gonna go crazy & want to make more, more, more! ((( You have been warned ))).
DC Direct recently announced that they will have a special BATMAN: BLACK & WHITE STATUE of CATWOMAN! With that news Selina Kyle now becomes the 1st female character in that line and villain # 3 to join this popular series ( previous villains include The Joker & The Penguin ). The other cool thing about this original design is that it is styled after artwork done by Steve Rude, a fan favorite among most comic book fans. Well, the ones that have any taste anyway! I'm really loving this one. She has that great Silver-Age style...MEOW! Look for it to be released later this year on July 7th, 2010. It's Limited Edition & will run about $80.00.

Here at the Bat-Blog we have a good friend named Zdravko. He recently came across some great Batman-related photos while looking through some old family pictures. The 1st one shows him as a little boy standing next to a special Batman Birthday Cake that his Dad had made for him...that's cool! His Dad did a great job because the cake looks really nice. The 2nd photo is from his Baptism as a small child. His Mother is carrying him in Church. In it, you can see he's holding a Batman figure. Yes, he took Batman with him! The photo is from the mid-1990's & the toy is actually a Topps Bubble Gum Candy-Filled Hard Plastic Figure that was made around the time of the BATMAN RETURNS movie. I have one of those, how funny! Thanks Zdravko for sharing these wonderful photos, they're both very awesome! As always, I want to extend an invitation to all Bat-Blog Fans to please send us your "Bat-Memories". Our e-mail button is always at the top right-hand side of this page.
While surfing the internet the other day I came across this photo of some Batman Vending Machine Figures. There was absolutely NO information about these & I'm wondering if any readers know anything about them. I seriously don't remember ever seeing them before so I think they're totally new & maybe not even out yet. It looks like they're gonna have 7 pieces to collect: Modern Batman, Retro-Style Batman, Robin, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, & The Penguin. If ya ask me, I think they look pretty AWESOME! If anyone has ANY info on these then please contact me...thanks.

Batman is the first in a new line of stylized vinyl toys that will be called UNI-FORMZ, inspired by the designer toy phenomenon!DC Direct has joined forces with popular contemporary toy designer Monster 5 to create this unique version of Batman. This bold new take on the Caped Crusader is a must-have for collectors of contemporary toy design, as well as traditional fans of Batman! There will be three different styles of Batman: the "Modern Batman" in his black costume, a variant version in the "Classic Blue and Gray Costume", and an ultra-stylized variant "Armored Batman" version! These designer toys are limited! Once they are sold out, DC Direct will not produce these styles again! In keeping with the tradition of designer toys, rarity of certain incarnations are the norm. The Batman variants ( "Classic"and "Armored" ) will be produced in far lower quantities. The line of UNI-FORMZ is reported to continue with original designs for Superman, Green Lantern, and other favorite DC Universe characters. These limited-edition vinyl UNI-FORMZ Batman figures feature 12 points of articulation, stands approximately 8"tall, and is packaged in a deluxe 4-color window box. Plus, they have a "Release Date" to go on sale June 3rd, 2009.

OK, Here at the Bat-Blog we post some really goofy stuff sometimes...just for fun! So that's what this is. I recently discovered a girl named "Anime Amy" who is totally into making Custom Toys. She gets old MY LITTLE PONY figures & customizes them into different superhero comic book characters. Here are 2 examples where she made a Batman & Joker figure from THE DARK KNIGHT movie. The details are pretty good. I think she sells these on eBay sometimes so you might check there if you're interesting in buying one. Or, be sure to check out her website. The URL is embedded on both photos.
OK Now, This is pretty cool! You might have read here at the Bat-Blog before about a company in the UK called Eaglemoss who issue those special DC Super Hero Collection Lead Figures ( In England they call them "figurines", oh la la ). They make these very small, but very detailed, mini-figures of all the DC Comics comic book characters cast in lead. This company is going crazy! I mean, there are like almost 40 something of these figures now! Well, anyway, they have this new "Special Edition" one coming out soon called BATMAN AND THE BATCYCLE. Oh man! It looks pretty awesome! Now before you totally fall in love please keep in mind that this Bat-Cycle is probably NOT a large full-size statue. If ya wanna see how small these things are then be sure to click the "Figurines" Tab at their website. You'll see a photo of an artist employee painting one. Now this special one might be a little bigger but I'm not sure. For more details be sure to check out their UK website by clicking HERE!

Here are some photos for the retail packaging ( prototype ) to some brand-new Batman toys to keep an eye out for in the future. These are SQUATZ Figures of popular DC Universe characters. There will be 6 to collect in the 1st wave: Batman, Joker, Penguin, Green Lantern, Flash, & Superman. Because of space limitations I'm just showing the Batman-related ones. Now, in each package you get 2 figures & one of them is totally unknown, a mystery! The way you find out who it is you put the figure in water & allow the special coating to dissolve. Then, you know who the mystery figure is, woo hoo! Sounds like hours of fun!! Actually, I'm really loving the retro-style characters presented on these cards. The figures look sort of cool too. I can't wait to see these in stores. You know, to see what they actually look like. Stay tuned to the Bat-Blog & when we find out, you will too.
You might remember the previous posts we did about the very cool Hot Toys BATMAN COSBABY Figures. They're making Classic Batman, Modern Batman, Robin, Batgirl, The Joker, Two-Face, Catwoman, & a "Mystery Figure"! Well that figure has finally been revealed...it's NIGHTWING! I knew it was gonna be him, ha ha! I know this has been news for a little while but I didn't want the surpirse to be ruined so I thought I would let it become more commonly known before revealing it. The additional vinyl figure looks pretty AWESOME! I really love these. They're so gosh darn cute, goo goo.

Like as if the regular Batman: The Brave and The Bold action figure line wasn't enough Mattel is ALSO going to make some smaller, cuter, figures called MINIS. We have reported on all of these before but here's a new photo showing what the packaging is gonna look like. We also found a newer photo of the cute Batmobile Car that I know everybody is gonna totally want! So far I'm really loving this animated TV Series but GOD, do they have to make so many toys to torture me? Ha Ha!
