The Next New Episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD will be called "Death Race To Oblivion" & it will air on Friday, November 20th, 2009 on the Cartoon Network. The basic plot goes like this: Mongul holds Earth ransom, forcing it's greatest heroes--and villains!--to race for the planet's survival. It's a crooked bargain wherein even if Batman wins, he dooms his fellow heroes--if the villains don't doom them first!

9 Old School BATMAN Vehicles That Rocked!!

Over at the BREAKDOWN COVER website they created a really neat list ( with photos ) of the Top 9 Coolest Classic Vehicles that were used on the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. Like the 1st one ( #9 ) was the "Batman Parachute Pick-Up Service" Van...that's funny! They also show some of the Custom Cars used by the Bat-Villains like Catwoman, The Joker, & The Penguin. NEW 2008 Batman CORGI BATMOBILES and STATUES

OK, I'm not quite sure what the deal is here but at last year's 2007 TOY FAIR Corgi was showing off their new line of Batman 1:43 Scale Batmobile & Bat-Vehicles that came with a special statue & they're not being released until now. Well, they were worth the wait! Here are the 1st six sets of Corgi Cars with the Statue Figures. We have Golden Age Batman with Red Roadster, Joker with the Jokermobile, Killer Moth, Two-Face, & 2 more Batman figures: a 1960's version & a modern-day one...sweet! Now, I'm really loving these figures/statues. I mean, when was the last time you saw Killermoth? Ha Ha! Be sure to click on the image above for a larger, more detailed, photo! The JOKERMOBILE Will Be The Other Car in The New 1966 BATMAN BATMOBILE SLOT CAR Race Set

This is just a quick post to confirm that the 2nd car in the New 1966 BATMAN TV SHOW BATMOBILE SLOT CAR RACE SET will be the Jokermobile! We reported on this brand-new AUTO WORLD toy when it was news last May but there was some confusion on what the other slot car was going to be. Well, just take a look at this more current picture up above & you can see, it's... the Jokermobile! Yeah, sort of looks like a Vintage Nomad or Station Wagon, pretty cool!! The estimated release date for this cool slot cars set will be around October 2010.

Batman Batmobile & Joker Jokermobile Artwork By Bubba Shelby!

We have a friend named Eric who does some pretty amazing artwork. He has a "cartoony-style" that is very funny and you can tell he really really loves ALL the Batman characters. He's done Adam West Batman, Comic Book Batgirl, even 1950's Bat-Mite! Shown here are just a few examples. The 1st one is Batman ( Michael Keaton ) in a suped-up Batmobile. It's the car from the 1989 Tim Burton Batman movie. The 2nd picure is a crazy Jokermobile, with The Joker driving it of course. This one is dedicated to Heath ledger ( that's cool ). Both of these remind me of those trading cards with the crazy monsters driving wacked-out hotrods ( I forget the name of those but loved them a s a kid, still do ). NEW BATMAN TOYS: Carrera GO ( 1:43 Scale ) Slot Car Racing Set

I already have way too many "collecting hobbies" that I can barely afford or else I would start to collect slot cars, ha ha. I have always thought they are pretty cool. Here's a nice example. In Germany there's a classic slot car toy company called CARRERA who specializes in high-quality slot car sets. The cars they make are extremely well-detailed. Later this year, around June or July, they're gonna release the Carrera GO (1:43 Scale) Batman "Hyperdrive Batmobile" & Joker-Mobile Slot Car Racing Set! The photos up above show the actual boxed race car set & then the 2 cars. ( In Germany they call the Batman's car the "Batmobil", I like that ). You also get a ton of track & everything to make a complete race set. I am also posting a photo of the "Banester" slot car that is modeled after BANE, a Batman Villain. This car is NOT included in this set but was one I found during my research. New 1966 BATMAN TV SHOW BATMOBILE SLOT CAR RACE SET From Auto World!

The 1966 TV Batmobile Car has just resurfaced on the cover of the Auto World Slot Car 2010 Catalog!! It looks like they will be making a Special '66 BATMAN TV SHOW Slot Car Race Set with the Batmobile & another "Villain Car". I'm not sure which evil doer it will be because the prototype box art show a vehicle that looks like it belongs to the Joker & the Catalog says "Penguinmobile" where they show the race track layout ( see pics ). But don't worry, the Bat-Blog will let everybody know once we get some more information. In the meantime, please enjoy these photos & totally drool!! The 1st image is an idea of what the box art might look like. The remaining photos are directly taken from the Auto World 2010 Slot Car Catalog. Oh man, this looks extremely cool...I'm completely excited!!

Amazing BATMAN TOY COLLECTION of THE JOKER!

I'm kinda proud of the fact that the Bat-Blog is one of the #1 places that people enjoy sharing their love of Batman Toy collecting. I've been a total Toy Collector for over 20 years & I am always still amazed when I see other people's collections. I don't know, it's just a really neat experience. Here's a great example. The other day I got an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Fan named Jason. You might remember his cool Joker & Poison Ivy Tattoo Photos we posted recently. Well, he sent us some pics of his awesome JOKER TOY collection!! I gotta say that there are some very great "Prince of Crime" items shown here, Ha Ha Ha! I love how it's all displayed so nicely. Plus, it's really cool to see a bunch of Joker stuff all together. I like collections that focus on a certain aspect of Batman. A few people I know focus mainly on the Batmobile Cars, for example. I wanna thank Jason for sharing these wonderful photos. Jason, I know you sent more pics than this but because of space limitations I had to tweet then down a little. But, overall, this is a nice representation of your amazing collection. Thanks for sending them, I appreciate that a lot. Auto World's BATMAN TV 1966 BATMOBILE - The JOKER'S CHALLENGE Electric Racing Slot Car Set

If you're a long time reader of the Bat-Blog then you're already familiar with this incredible new bat-product coming out next January 2011. We were one of the very 1st websites to report on it & we have been crazy for it ever since. We're talking about the Auto World JOKER'S CHALLENGE Electric Racing Slot Car Set with the 1966 Batmobile! Well, here are some official photos of the actual box design & it's different than the ones we featured before, which were "prototype pics". I gotta say, the new packaging design is way better & I love that the graphic of the 1966 Batmobile Car is so prominent. It's really BIG & looks extremely cool. Also, another thing this toy company does is they sell the huge play set with both slot cars & track. Then, they also sell the slot cars individually. Well, shown here is the packaging for that too. The last photo is a "prototype pic" of the Batmobile. Oh man, I'm really gonna have to get all this stuff, ha ha!

BATMAN PAPER CRAFT MODEL KIT - The JOKER'S "I Scream" ICE CREAM TRUCK!

Shown here is a totally insane Paper Craft Toy designed by J.P. Cote of Paper Empire Toys. It's the JOKER'S "I SCREAM" ICE CREAM TRUCK Model Kit in 1:24th Scale!! For people unfamiliar with this type of thing, basically what you do is: You download a few PDF files of this model onto your computer, you print them out with your PC's Printer on "card stock" paper, & then you cut them out. After that: you bend, fold, & paste them into this vehicle. Think of it as a Car Model Kit made out of paper! But just check out the photos here, this thing is CRAZY, ha ha! It comes with Rocket Launcher Silos, Joker Head Turret on the Top, a Rocket Exhaust on the Back, & even a Specially-Sized JOKER Action Figure!
