Our Super-Excellent Retail Reporter, BATMOBILLY, just discovered something pretty cool over at his favorite Target Store. In their "Easter Holiday isle" they have an EXCLUSIVE Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS EASTER BASKET! The packaging is made to sort-of look like a basket & it comes with 3 Action Figures, 1 Accessory, & 1 Vehicle. It looks like BATMAN, MR. FREEZE ( with Freeze Chamber ), & THE JOKER ( With Jokermobile )! It retails for $14.99 and that's not a bad price! Thanks to Billy for reporting this awesome news!! If any other Bat-Blog Readers ( that's YOU! ) sees any other Batman holiday tie-in merchandise then please let us know.
OK, keeping up with the whole "DVD & Blu-Ray Store Exclusives" thing is a total nightmare! But here's some early reports I have got so far. Best Buy will be giving away a free "Movie Poster" with all pre-orders of THE DARK KNIGHT ( actually not a real movie poster but smaller ). This is kinda cheesy so look for a way better offer from them once it gets closer to December 9th ( the official release date for the DVD ). Another "exclusive" that looks a lot better is from Wal-Mart. Seriously, ha ha! Walmart will bundle the "Single-Disc DVD" with a TDK Comic Book & Two-Face Coin Replica. The last rumor I have heard is that FYE Stores will have the movie in 3 different Steelcases ( Graphics will be either Batman, Two-Face, or Joker ). I don't have a photo of them yet so if you live near a FYE store please send us one! Like I said, keeping up with all the store exclusive DVD sets is totally crazy so if you have ANY information to share then please let us know, thanks.
OK, Here's a list of all the Promo Deals the Retail Stores are having to promote sales of their DVD of JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON TWO EARTH. The 3 I'm covering are the major outlets: Best Buy, Amazon, & Target. I checked the Walmart website & they didn't list anything so if they do something please let me know. There might also be other promotional items out there with other stores. I have tried to compile this information the best I can so if it's not totally accurate then it's not my fault, ha! Alright, here we go! Most of the stores on this list have a Free Exclusive if you buy the DVD 2-Disc Set or the Blu-Ray Copy only. Looks like you don't get anything if you buy the regular DVD movie. Best Buy has an Exclusive 3" Figure of OWLMAN ( yeah, you read that right, 3 inches. But it does look kinda cool though ). Amazon gives you a Free Lithograph Poster with a graphic from the animated film ( No Batman shown ). The movies you buy at Target have a special "Extra Short of The SPECTRE" that sounds pretty cool! But, at the Amazon website they show that they have it too ( I think Target sells a lot of stuff through Amazon, like they are partners or something ). Our good friend known as THE BATFAN sent us these 2 photos from his recent trip to Toys-R-Us. It looks like they have 2 Exclusive DC SUPER FRIENDS Imaginext Toy Cars ( for the Action Figures ) that you can only buy there. They include the "Batman Adventure Vehicle" & the "Joker Villain Van". Oh man, I seriously love that Joker Van, it's hilarious! I know that little kids are gonna go crazy for these! This series of Action Figure by Fisher Price have turned out to be pretty successful. I love the fact that very small children get to play with Batman, The Joker, Penguin, Robin, etc...that's cool! Thanks to BatFan for sending the nice pics, we appreciate that!
