They are a part of the DC SUPER FRIENDS Imaginext toy line by Fisher Price. The 1st photo shows their Exclusive Blue Batmobile with a few Super Hero & Villain Action Figures. We showed this awhile back in the original box but these are out of the package, loose. Which is cool because you get a way better look at the individual figures. The next 2 pics are some brand-new figures that you can also ONLY buy at Target. They include a special Batman Figure & one of Two-Face. I'm really loving the Two-Face one because, not only does the figure look pretty cool but, that Special Silver Dollar Coin is AWESOME! So, the next time to you hit this retail store be sure to keep an eye out for them. Also, I should mention that the Exclusive Batmobile with 6 figures is on Clearance Sale. Our Super-Excellent Retail Reporter, BATMOBILLY, just discovered something pretty cool over at his favorite Target Store. In their "Easter Holiday isle" they have an EXCLUSIVE Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS EASTER BASKET! The packaging is made to sort-of look like a basket & it comes with 3 Action Figures, 1 Accessory, & 1 Vehicle. It looks like BATMAN, MR. FREEZE ( with Freeze Chamber ), & THE JOKER ( With Jokermobile )! It retails for $14.99 and that's not a bad price! Thanks to Billy for reporting this awesome news!! Here are 2 photos of some brand-new Batman merchandise sent in by 2 awesome Bat-Blog Fans. I thought I would post them because they do make great Christmas Gift ideas. The 1st one is a box of BATMAN COLOGNE that our friend Jennifer found at ROSS. Ross is a Discount Clothing Store & they always have unique gift items. I think it's pretty cool that they're selling this & it's only $7.99, which is a good deal. I really like the graphics used on the box, a "Comic Book" version of the Caped Crusader! The next photo was sent in by our buddy "Batmobile Billy" who is totally into collecting all the different variations of the Batmobile ( hence the cool nickname, ha! ). Here is a perfect gift idea for that little boy or girl in your life, a Fisher Price Imaginext Batmobile Toy Car that comes with some "Toxic Barrels" to crash into. But the thing that's so cool about it is that it also has a lot of nice action figures with it too. There are three Villains: Two-Face, Joker, & Riddler. Plus, you get 3 Superheroes, six figures in all! Now please keep in mind that this is a TARGET Store Exclusive that you can ONLY find there. Here's a new Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Superfriends item to keep an eye out for. This Gift Set is a Target Store Exclusive so you can only find it there. It retails for about $30 & that's a pretty good deal for what you get. So, don't pay the idiot scalper prices you see on eBay, ha ha! Once they restock their stores it should be around. I have pictures of almost all the figures & vehicles included but couldn't find a decent picture of the Robin figure & his special Motorcycle Bat-Bike. The other action figures include: The Joker, Mr. Freeze, & 2 different Batman. The vehicles are great too! They include: Bat-Copter, Bat-Wing Jet, & the Joker Car. I'm gonna be looking for one of these because as a multiple set it's really cool!
Just a quick posting here. This is a pic sent in by our good friend Batmobilly! He said he just saw this action figure at Wal-Mart & it's sort of a very hard one to find so he took a picture. It's the ROBIN WITH BATCYCLE from the Fisher Price Imaginext DC SUPER FRIENDS toy line. Later, I told Billy that one day I was at Toys-R-Us. They had a HUGE area for all this great DC SUPER FRIENDS Action Figure stuff ( Vehicles, Play Sets, Figures, everything! ). There was a TON of toys & it took-up almost 1/2 the row. Out of curiosity I started to add-up all the prices in my head. Just to buy all the stuff they had that one day it would have cost like $300 dollars! The thing to keep in mind is that this is not even all the toys they have made ( or will make ). Not even close. Plus some other stores have "Exclusives", etc... So, I guess if you're like me & can't afford to buy it all ( I tend to be a "Completest Collector" ) then at least just get the few pieces that you really like. Well, this ROBIN figure with Bat-Cycle would go on that list because it's really cool!
The Bat-Blog is pretty famous for having a ton of really super-great Batman Wallpapers. Yeah, I know that sounds sort of conceited, but it's not that way... if it's true, ha ha! Well, today I thought I would post a few that are very funny. That way, you'll be cheered-up at work or home while you're on your PC. That sounds good, right? Trust me. they're really funny! The 1st one is a beautiful graphic sent in by our good friend Gerry. He's an extremely talented Graphic Artist & he made this awesome picture of the "Oceanic Repellent Bat-Sprays". We all remember the classic scene from the 1967 BATMAN Movie where Batman ( Adam West ) is lowered from the Bat-Copter on a rope ladder, over the ocean, & gets attacked by a shark. He then asks Robin ( Burt Ward ), "Bring the Anti-Shark Repellent Bat-Spray!" It's a total fan-favorite! In the movie Robin searches for the "Shark Spray" by reading off all the cans until he gets to the one he needs ...hilarious! Gerry's digital-drawing he made here is just really wonderful & very well done ( Thanks Gerry! By the way, this would make a most excellent T-Shirt! ). The next one is a picture our friend Batmobilly found on eBay. It looks like somebody is selling a few Batman Custom Toys they made. They basically customized some Fisher Price Little People ( which I totally love ) & transformed them into Batman, Robin, & The Joker. They even made a Little Batmobile Car! I don't know, the picture completely cracks me up! I hope you guys enjoy these graphics as much as I do. In fact, the Shark-Repellent Spray pic has been my Desktop Wallpaper for a few days now & every time I see it I smile just a bit.
Just a quick post, in 2008 Mattel will be putting out this brand new DC SUPER FRIENDS toy so look for it soon! Awhile back we showed this new Batman Toy called MY FIRST BAT-WING for the 1st time ( check the archives ) but yesterday I received a photo in my e-mail showing what the original box is gonna look like....SWEET! Oh yeah, in the previous photo it was BLACK so I guess there will be 2 variations. Please comment & let us know which one you like better: the Blue one or the Black one? Dang, with all the freakin' cool Batman toys coming out this year I'm gonna have to get 3 part-time jobs to afford it all, ha ha!
Who's the cutest little Batman? You are, yes you are! Ha Ha, TOY FAIR 2008 has presented a huge amount of new Batman Toys that will be released this year. Fisher Price ( Now owned by Mattel ) will release a line of plush toys called "BE BRAVE BUDDIES" which will be large Plush Toy variations of their DC Superfriends action figures. In the 1st wave we'll see Superman, Flash, Hawkman, and, of course, Batman! Now, you all know that I am gonna have to get that Batman doll, he's too gosh-darn cute, ha ha! I even like the fact that they made a Hawkman. No offense to that character but it's kinda weird they did him considering he's not as well known as like Superman or Flash. But, that's cool! Another cool thing is it looks like there will be 2 versions of Batman: Blue/Gray & Black/Gray...which color variation do you like best?
Just a quick post, in the next wave of action figures for the Fisher Price / Mattel DC SUPER FRIENDS line of toys they're gonna release a new villain...The JOKER! I love these because they are so cute & adorable, ha ha. Let's hope they also make a Catwoman, Riddler, & The Penguin!
Tonight I checked out the Bat-Blog Message Board and one of our members, named Jeff, who's a pretty talented artist, came up with the concept of "What If" Fisher Price had made some Little people who looked like Batman characters. What would they look like. I think this is a great idea & I wish they would make them!! This idea is so brilliant I'm kind of shocked nobody else has done this, ha ha. I know that toy collectors would flip over these & little kids would love playing with them. I have been noticing that Hasbro has been making Mr. Potato Head as Darth Vader& the other day I saw one of Spiderman. Ya know, they should make one of Batman. Probably during the Dark Knight movie I bet they will!
If you have small children who love BATMAN then you're gonna want to keep an eye out for these brand-new toys by Fisher Price. They're called TRIO DC SUPER FRIENDS & they're basically a building block game with small figures. The 1st two out of the gate will be THE BATMAN BATCAVE Play Set & The JOKER-BOT!! These are totally awesome! As you can see by the sample photos, they can be built in many different ways. I'm really loving these because they not only extend their already existing IMAGINEXT Action Figure toy line, but they also add a lot of game play & use of imagination...very clever. The BATCAVE has an approx. retail price of $35.00 & The JOKER-BOT is $18.00. These should be in store very soon if they are not already.
It looks like Fisher Price just keeps expanding their DC Super Friends toy line even more! They now have a whole brand-new set of figures & vehicles called HERO WORLD. There's a Transforming Batmobile, Batman & Batcycle, and Joker with his Funny Car. The figures include: Superman ( comes with Krypto The Dog ), Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, and The Joker. Plus, they're a whole new size, their scale is somewhere between Imaginext and the Super Friends figures. be sure to click on the last photo for a larger version where you can see the new stuff really good. In the 1st one we saw a friend named Justin who had some photos of himself when he was a small kid playing with his Toy Biz Batman Toys from around 1992. Well, now here are the new photos showing his young son playing with his own Batman Toys modern day. He's got the Fisher Price Bat-Cave Play Set with Batmobile Car, Action Figures, & Other Vehicles. It's neat to see the juxtaposition of the two & it's also very special that they're Father & Son. Plus, just to see 2 different generations of Bat-Toys is kinda cool. Here's to the next generation.
Our Batman Toy News Reporter BATMOBILLY spotted this amazing store display the other night at Toys-R-Us!! It's for the new Batman TRIO DC SUPER FRIENDS Building Block Toys by Fisher Price ( click on the pics for larger, more detailed, versions ). I bet that when he went around the corner & saw this thing his eyeballs must have bounced out of his head, ha! Check out this recent Batman Toy TV Commercial! It's for the DC SUPER FRIENDS: TRIO Building System made by Fisher-Price. We get to see the Batcave, Batmobile Car, & a few figures. I totally love these new Batman Toys & want to collect them all! Yes, they will ALL BE MINE, ha ha!

It's THE JOKER from the Fisher-Price Imaginext Series. Ya got to admit that $3.99 is a pretty good price. The next item was also spotted at Target. Here are 2 different ACTION LEAGUE Figure Sets. One is Batman with the Batcycle & the other is Batman with Gorilla Grodd. Of course these are the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD versions...very cool! The last collectible is also an Imaginext Action Figure but it was found at Wal-Mart. It's TWO-FACE & it looks like he comes with a bank vault door, oh yeah! OK, I gotta send out a HUGE Thank You to Batmobilly for sending the wonderful pics, that's great! Our good friend "Batmobile Billy" sent us a photo of this brand-new toy he saw at a retail store the other night. He's always on the hunt for cool Batman Batmobile Toys & spotted this new variation of the DC SUPER FRIENDS BATMOBILE CAR with Batman Figure made by Fisher Price, as a part of their "Imaginext" series. This one sort of looks a little bit like the car seen in the 1989 Batman movie, kinda-sorta! It also comes with 3 industrial barrels of "Joker Chemical Waste" ( I love the Joker Logo on the top of them, funny! ). The photo showing the toy on the store shelf is Billy's picture he snapped of the actual product & the other 2 are from the FP website. I like this car a lot & I'm gonna have to get one later, it's pretty cool! Thanks Billy for sending the pic.
