OK, I have said it a million times & I totally mean it, I love to see other people's Batman Toy Collections! It's always a game of "I got that, I want that, where did he get that?", ha ha! Here are some pics sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Fan named Ernest. He says that his main focus are the Batmobile Cars & just about anything with the famous "Yellow Oval" Batman Symbol Logo. I gotta say that there are some very cool items here! Of course it's almost impossible to pick out a favorite item here because everything is so awesome but I have to say that I really love the HUGE Remote Control Batmobile Car! I remember when it came out & I couldn't afford it at the time. But, someday, IT WILL BE MINE! Another neat thing to mention are the 2 Custom Driving-Light Covers that Ernest made. They are those 2 "Flat Yellow Circles" with Bat-Symbols cut-out of them that you can see in the bottom-center of the very last photo. They were made to fit the large Driving Lights on the front of his truck! These must look pretty cool all lit-up. Ernest, ya gotta send us a photo of that! In the mean time, I wanna thank you for taking the time to shoot all these great pics. Plus, you have the start of an amazing Batman Collection, keep it up! I want to invite ALL Bat-Blog Readers to send us photos of your collection...show us what you got!

New in stores right now is this very cool DC SUPERFRIENDS Matchbox Die Cast Cars 5-Pack Gift Set. Of course I'm reporting it here because there is a Batman-related vehicle in there, the Bat-Copter! Also included is the Flash Car, Superman Police Car, Green Lantern Van, & a cool industrial work truck with the DC SUPERFRIENDS logo! Personally I wish they had packaged these separately because all I want is the Bat-Copter, ha ha!
Over at the BREAKDOWN COVER website they created a really neat list ( with photos ) of the Top 9 Coolest Classic Vehicles that were used on the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. Like the 1st one ( #9 ) was the "Batman Parachute Pick-Up Service" Van...that's funny! They also show some of the Custom Cars used by the Bat-Villains like Catwoman, The Joker, & The Penguin. Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE!
Ya know, the Bat-Blog has been covering a lot of the news & tributes to Heath Ledger's death that it's been kinda depressing so I thought I would try to brighten everyone's mood with some humor photos. ( I don't mean any disrespect to Heath ). Here's a photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Reader who collects pictures of custom cars. He loves the Batmobile cars & when he sees some funny ones he saves them. He sent us these..."YYYEEE HHAAAWW! I DONE MADE ME A BATMOBILE, Bang Bang Bang!"

Just the other day I received 2 cool photos from friends who enjoy Batman Custom Toys. The 1st one is from our good friend MILOTIK who likes in Argentina. He recently found this Batgirl Custom Figure Doll that was made from a Justice League Unlimited Wonder Woman. She looks really beautiful & the attention to detail is very good, a really nice custom doll!! I mean, her face & costume look super-great!! In Argentina they call her LA BATCHICA! I love that name, ha ha. The 2nd photo is from a friend named Tony who resides in Chicago. Tony is sharing a Custom Toy of a Pixar's Cars Movie vehicle that is a 1966 Batmobile. The idea is "what-if" a '66 Batmobile was in the animated cartoon & what would he look like. This is a great looking car! It's a very clever idea & well executed, good job guys! We wanna invite ANY Custom Toy Fans to send us photos of their creations. We love it when people get creative with their love of Batman characters, that's awesome!
Over at the MTV Movie Blog they have a cool video from the 2008 TOY FAIR with a Mattel rep who shows off the new THE DARK KNIGHT Bruce Wayne Lamborghini Toy Car that will be in the new Batman Movie. Just click on the photo up above as a link to that video...sweet! You can sort of see some of the other toys in the background ( wish I could have gone but New York is wayyy too far away for me ).

Photos for the 2nd series wave of Hot Wheels Batmobile Vehicles are starting to appear. The 1966 Batboat & '66 Batmobile Car with Trailer Hitch are in stores now & the others should arrive soon after. The top photo is from a recent Hot Wheels Collector Convention where they showed off the 1989 Movie Batwing, 1989 Movie Batmobile, 1966 Bat-Cycle ( reissue ), Super Friends Batmobile, & the Bat-Boat with 1966 Car. The next picture shows the back of the packaging for the Bat-Boat & on that we get to see the Dark Knight Bat-Pod Motorcycle, very cool! These vehicles are really great & I can't wait to get them all!!

I swear that I am NOT sucking-up when I say that I really love my readers, for real! They send some really great stuff in to me & to be honest it's my favorite part of doing this blog. There's nothing better than getting cool source material just mailed to you, it's like a gift or something, ha ha! Here's 2 examples: The 1st photo is one sent in by Jeff, from California, he said he saw this car at a shopping mall & had to get a photo. The guy had a custom airbrush art graphic of Batman on the hood of his car ( we also like the gull-wing doors, ha ha ). The next picture is one found on the internet by our friend Mary who said it was from a major fan page for the Miata Car. She told us about how he had a ton of funny pictures, featuring the Miata of course, that had been photoshopped & when she saw this one she knew she had to send it to us! Thanks for sending these in guys, they're great! We wanna invite ALL of our Bat-Blog readers to keep sending us cool bat-stuff. We love it!
Here's some advance pictures of the NEW 1:50 Scale Batman Hot Wheels Batmobile Cars to released by Mattel. No exact date yet but we'll keep you informed. These photos are really torturing me because I'm gonna have to have them all! They're doing the 1966 George Barris Batman TV Show Batmobile ( Oh My God! ), the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series ( This is actually one of my favorite versions, I seriously love that cartoon series ), the Tumbler from both of the Batman Begins & The Dark Knight movies ( very detailed & sweet! ), & a generic Batmobile with a groovy retro look! The 1/50th Scale is approx. 4" long so they will be a tiny bit larger than the Batmobiles released by Corgi recently which were 1:43 scale. The pictures are from the Official Hot Wheels Collectors site by Mattel. Here's a link button to join that club.
Made in Great Britain. Here's the very RARE & highly desirable CORGI JUNIORS BATMOBILE, BAT-BOAT, & TRAILER Die-Cast Vehicle Gift Set #3002. It's shown here MINT on original blister-bubble card...sweet! This was very recently on eBay & the last time I looked it was up to $500, wow! I seriously love the vintage retro-graphics. Plus, I love vintage toys from the UK so this is really cool.

I recently got an e-mail from a Bat-Blog Reader named Steve who wanted to share photos of his Batman Corgi Car & Mattel Hot Wheels Batmobile Collection. Oh man, now this special group of cars is pretty impressive and this Custom Display Case he had made is GREAT! It has a mirrored back, plus the bat-symbol logo & "Batmobile name" are shown on the top ( They are laser-cut mirrored acrylic stick-ons he found on ebay ). I wanna thank Steve for the wonderful pics, the cars are very cool displayed like this ...thank you! Now, here's a list of the cars in case some people wanna know:

OK, Here's some photos you can use to compare the old Vintage 60's Thunderjet Aurora HO Scale Slot Car of the 1966 Batmobile ( TV Show ) with the brand-new version by Playing Mantis. About a year or two ago a company called Playing Mantis ( they make the new Johnny Lightning cars ) made a few different versions of a 1960's style Batmobile slot car. It was a part of their Thunderjet 500 series. They are also HO Scale. These are kinda common on eBay & you can find one "Mint-In-The-Box" for about $15.00 to $20.00. I'm gonna try to win one soon because they're so cool! The blue one sort of reminds me a little of the Superpowers Batmobile that Kenner made in the 1980's. Now, Out of the 2 different colors avaliable which one do you like better? The BLACK one or BLUE one? Please COMMENT below.
Here's a brand-new Batman Toy to look out for on your next trip to Target. Here's the MATCHBOX CAR 5-Pack Gift Set with a BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV cartoon theme. The cars & trucks all feature Gorilla Grodd, Green Arrow, Batman, & Joker graphics. Yes, my favorite one is the purple car with the Joker on it. But actually, they're all pretty neat. This set retails for about $8.99, not a bad price. ( Thanks to Batmobilly for sending the photo ).
