Breaking News: Batman's BATMOBILE CAR Spotted on Highway 95 North!

OK, These photos are pretty funny and, yes, it might be a situation where "you had to be there", but I think it's totally hilarious! These 2 pics were sent in by our friend Dave who said he was just traveling down the street when all of a sudden he & his Wife saw Batman's Car going down the street!! He explains it a lot better than me so here's what he wrote:
"My wife & I were heading back from the Chiller Theater Convention in New Jersey on Halloween Night and we spotted a Batmobile driving on 95 North through Connecticut! My wife Nancy tried taking a pic through my driver's window, then we caught a better pic on the passenger's side, making me MISS the exit for 95 North to Rhode Island! We were able to get back on the highway and make it home, but it was worth the pic. This gentleman driving the Batmobile looks like he modified his black Corvette with reflective tape, the Batman shield, and this gentleman actually painted and detailed the foam wings! I hope you enjoy the pics!"
Enjoy the pics? Oh man, these pics are GREAT! I also think the story is pretty funny too like how you missed your exit just to get a photo...Ha Ha! Thanks so much for sharing your story & almost risking your life. It WAS worth it!!

1989 Batman Movie BATMOBILE CAR Spotted at Six Flags in Mexico!

Check out these wonderful photos sent in by our friend Bruno! They were shot at the Six Flags Theme Park in Mexico City. The 1st pic shows Bruno, & a very cute girl, posing next to a life-size Batman Statue they saw in the gift shop. That's pretty awesome! Then the next pic was taken during the special "Batman Show" they have there. It looks like Six Flags went crazy building a massive stage with buildings & everything, that's cool! ( Please remember to click on it for a larger version ). Then the very last photo shows the 1989 Batmobile that they have on public display. Now, Bat-Blog Fans, please keep in mind that this picture of the movie car is also a "Batman Wallpaper Background" you can use to brighten your desktop! Also, I wanna say, "Thanks Bruno for sending the great pics!".

Bat-Dave Takes a Ride In The Batmobile!!

Our buddy, known as "Bat-Dave", just recently got to ride in the Batmobile!! No, seriously, he sent us some pics to prove it ( Be sure to click on them for larger, sharper versions ). Plus, he has a great story about it too. Check this out:
I was having a cold beer last weekend at The Beachcomber Bar & Grill on Seaside Heights boardwalk where MTV films that horrible 'Jersey Shore'. I commented to this older fellow to my left wearing a 'weathered' Batman tee how much I liked his shirt. It turns out that the guy is Jay Weatherby, New Jersey's coolest Adam West/Batman impersonator!! Not only is Jay a walking encyclopedia of the 1960's TV series, he even had his own costume tailor-made and... get this...He MADE his very own BATMOBILE!!! A few years back, Jay sawed the entire top off his 1980's Ford Mustang and has basically customized it as a homage to the 1966 George Barris vehicle!!! Jay does parties and other personal appearances from time to time. It was a real thrill when he took me for a quick spin around Seaside in his trusty 'Batmobile'! Kids of all ages on the boardwalk were loving it!

Custom TUMBLER BATMOBILE Replica Car Handmade by Bob Dullam

WOW! Here's an amazing set of photos showing a real-life TUMBLER BATMOBILE that was handmade by Bob Dullam. He is a super Batman Fan with wayyy too much talent! Oh and you read that right, he really made this car all by himself... in his garage! It's a total replica of the Tumbler Batmobile from both the Batman Begins & The Dark Knight Batman movies. The detailing is totally insane! When a replica car looks this good I'm not the kind of person to nick-pick over tiny details. It looks really really GREAT to me! Also, the car actually drives! Could you imagine the looks you would get going down the highway!!? I'm not sure if it would be "legal" or not, but who cares! Bob works in the Hollywood industry fabricating props & costumes. He works with a partner named Bob Causey who is also extremely talented. Here's a link to their website & when there please be sure to check out their "Gallery", it's crazy!! But, I'm gonna warn you now. You're gonna see a ton of super-cool stuff that you can never afford to buy so prepare to be tortured, ha ha!
