This BATMAN EASTER BASKET is so gosh darn cute, ha ha! Our friend Kevin sent us this cool photo of a new Batman product that is out for Easter. He told us he just found this at a Target Store. That's funny, I was just there a few days ago & checked...I didn't see it. They must have just got them so if you want one be sure to go there tonight...HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY!! Oh yeah, Thanks Kevin for the great pic, appreciate that! Also, any Bat-Blog readers who spot new Batman merchandise please send us the information ( what, where, cost, & a photo if you can ).
Just a quick post to remind Batman Collectors in Brazil that there's a brand-new Batman product you might pick-up while at the Drug Store. Also, while you're there, grab me one too! Ha Ha, I thought this weird piece of bat-merchandise was actually pretty cool. It's just a Box of Band-Aids but it has graphics that are totally different than the ones sold here. I'd like to end this post by asking all Bat-Blog Readers outside the USA to please let us know what kind of cool stuff you guys have in your country, thanks!
The other night we hit the local evil Wal-Mart to get a few supplies & I was pleasantly surprised to find, by accident, these 2 brand-new Batman products: Batman Bubble Bath ( Cherry Scent ) and Batman Band-Aid Box. You know I had to buy them, ha ha! The scary thing is the Bubble Bath has a major health warning on the back that reads, "CAUTION: Use Only As Directed. Excessive use or prolonged exposure may cause irritation to skin & urinary tract, etc..." OK, The part about "urinary tract" really really scares me, ha ha! But the packaging, for both items, is pretty cool. I like that they use the traditional "Comic Book Batman"...nice graphics!
This morning I got an e-mail from Chris Gardner. He's an illustrator for House Industries, a major design firm. He's the guy who designed the new Batman logo for the comics books. He also did the ones for Detective Comics & Batman Gotham Knights. I have always loved that new logo so it was kinda neat to get an e-mail from him. Anyway, his question was if I knew of any bat-products, besides the comic book, to utilize that exact logo. New toys always have the movie or TV show logos or use an older Batman logo. So, besides the T-Shirt with this logo, do ANY readers out there know of any bat-products out there using this logo? It's the one featured in the lower graphic. Please e-mail the Bat-Blog or just leave a comment down below & let us know. If you can send a photo that's great but even if you can't just let us know...Thank You.
OK Batman Collectors. Right now, as we speak, there is a brand-new Batman Product that is in stores & features The Dark Knight movie logo. The problem is, they only sell it in Europe. Ouch! Our friend Norbert, who lives in Germany, sent this very nice photo of a cool new piece of Batman Merchandise. It's the "Calippo Shots" Batman-Snack! Basically it's a frozen treat that is Lemon & Cola flavored & sounds pretty good. I have also got reports that it is selling in Ireland too. It's a totally European company that is making it so I don't think we'll be getting these here, bummer. I wanna thank Norbert for sending us both the photo & information. If any other readers in "foreign lands" have any pictures of new Batman Memorabilia then please send them along too.
A new friend of the Bat-Blog, named "Escoteiro", sent us these amazing photos of some new TDK merchandise from Brazil. Here are some Nestle Cereal Boxes with The Dark Knight promotion. The 1st photo is my favorite because it shows 2 boxes that each have different graphics with 1/2 a face & when you put them together they form a complete picture of Batman's face....very cool! This is the Nestle Crunch cereal & it's prize was a "buy one movie ticket get one free" coupon ( the 2nd photo shows the back of that box ). The 3rd photo is Nestle Estrelitas ( honey-flavored ) with 4 different Batman Disk Launchers, just like the ones given away here in the USA with General Mills' Cheerios. The 4th photo is Nestle Nescau, which looks like chocolate Cocoa Puffs, and it's premiums are the 4 small figures of Batman & The Joker. Now, these are just like the American ones except they have an exclusive Scarecrow figure & one of the Batman figures has "2 arms" double-fist action. The last photo shows what the premiums look like out of the boxes, very cool. I wanna personally thank "Escoteiro" for sending these great pics. I know that it must have taken a lot of time to do them & I really appreciate that. They're wonderful, thank you. Plus, it's so cool that they are from another part of the globe, that's exciting!
