I randomly came across this photo the other night & thought it was pretty cool. It shows the famous Comic Book Artist Jim Lee ( Now DC Comics Co-Publisher ) with Actor Mark Hamill, who did the voice for the Joker in the "Batman: The Animated Series" TV Cartoon & the "Batman: Arkham Asylum" video game. Mark Hamill was also in some movie called STAR WARS that I hear was pretty good.
A friend sent this link & it's pretty funny. I also think it's a cool craft project for a little kid's Batman-themed birthday party. This instructional video tells you how to make a JOKER ACTION FIGURE with balloons. Ya know, like "Balloon Animals". The end effect is pretty cool looking! Oh yeah, I guess I should say that it's the "Mark Hamill version" from Batman: The Animated Series & NOT the Heath Ledger Dark Knight movie character.
OK, I gotta admit, right now, that I am totally & completely super-jealous!! Why? Well, our friend Caroline got to meet Mark Hamill at this year's SD Comic Con, that's why! You might know him. He played the JOKER in Batman: The Animated Series. He also played the same character in the Batman: Arkham Asylum Video Game, among others. He also played a guy named Luke Skywalker in some movie called Star Wars, which I hear is excellent. Arrrgghh! Caroline, I'm so very very JEALOUS!! Ha Ha, actually it's really great that she got to meet him & I wanna thank her for allowing me to post this wonderful photo. Also, as a side-note, her Harley Quinn Make-Up and Costume is awesome!
A new friend of mine on Facebook, named Michael Valentine, had this video to share that he actually made. Well, he used footage from the Batman: The Animated Series & added his own audio of himself doing the Joker's voice ( he sounds exactly like Mark Hamill! ).The main focus of this piece is that it's a tribute to Heath Ledger ( Joker from The Dark Knight movie ) who had just died. It shows the Joker cartoon character all upset hearing about Heath's death...it's pretty well done. Thanks for letting me post it Michael, ya did a great job on it! A brand-new trailer for the BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM Video Game has just been released & it's the best one so far! It gives you a better idea of the plot & you get to hear both Batman & the Joker's voices a lot better too. Plus, the graphics look really great! Most Batman Fans are really excited that the voices are being played by Kevin Conroy ( Batman / Bruce Wayne ) & Mark Hamill ( The Joker ), the original actors from the Batman: The Animated Series cartoon...enjoy!
