Checking my Bat-Files, ha ha, I noticed that I have collected a few photos of some cool Joker Toys ( both past & present ) so that gets to be the post of the day. The 1st photo is of a Joker Pin-Up Poster that was drawn by the classic comic book artists Carmine Infantino & Murphy Anderson. Ya gotta admit that this is a beautiful piece of ART! The 2nd item is the sheet music for THE MAN WHO LAUGHS. OK, This is not an official piece of Batman merchandise. But, this is the picture that inspired Bob Kane to help create the Joker & it's sorta famous among Batman fans & collectors. ( Notice I said, "helped" to create ). The 3rd item is an amazing example of Batman/Joker Memorabilia. It's the FIST-FIGHTING JOKER Mego 8" Doll in Original Box with Karate Kung-Fu Action! This was released in the 1970's & is EXTREMELY RARE!! ( Thank You Jimmy for sending that photo). Following the doll is a nice photo of the recent JOKERMOBILE Diecast car made by Corgi. Recently Corgi made a ton of these Batman-related vehicles, mostly many different variations of the Batmobile, but this is one of my favorites. The next pic is an example of a few DC Comics Mini-Mates "action figures" made by DC Direct. I really love the one of Harley Quinn. The last photo is very current but because of limited quantity is extremely RARE. Warner Bros recently gave away a few Joker T-Shirts has part of their DARK KNIGHT Movie Viral-Marketing Campaign. The t-shirt was presented in a gift box with the logo for a fake company called "Gotham Novelties, Inc". It's funny because it says, "Est. 1928", ha ha! The T-Shirt of Heath Ledger's face is kinda cool but I really love the beautiful gift box more. Whew! This was a lot to cover. If ANY readers have some really RARE or super-cool collections of Joker Memorabilia then please send us some photos to share...Thanks!
Here are some totally wonderful fashion photos sent in by our new friend Martin. He wanted to share the fact that girls are Batman Fans too!! Thanks Martin, these amazing pics made my day & I know my readers will love them, hubba hubba! ( Guys, click on it for a larger version )
For your viewing pleasure is this ever-so-delightful Black and White Pin-Up Photo of Julie Newmar!! Be sure to click the photo for a larger picture...it's sweet! Of course all Batman Fans know her as Catwoman from the 1960's TV series. As a MySpace member I was recently surprised to receive an invitation to join her Official MySpace page. OK, it was probably her publicist, but I was still deeply honored! She is one of the few Bat-Actors I have never met in person but my friends who have say she is the sweetest person in the world, that's awesome.

A Bat-Blog Reader, named Rob, sent us these 2 photos he said he randomly found on the internet. They show 2 extremely cute pin-up girl models dressed up in costumes like Batgirl & Harley Quinn, in bed, on a pile of comic books!! Mmmeeeooowww, this has gotta be every Batman Fan's total fantasy! Not too mention all the comic books nerds ( I mean "nerds" in a good way ) out there who would totally freak-out if their girlfriends did this, ha ha! Of course you know some of the comic book collectors would complain that they are "damaging some MINT copies" of their favorite titles, ha ha! Thank you Rob, these pics are totally awesome! Oh yeah, hey fellas, please leave a comment & let us tastefully know which pin-up girl is YOUR favorite!!
Here's a neat piece of Bat-History! Here's a vintage graphic that was an ad inside a silver age BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD comic book ( #66 to be exact! ). It advertised that in "current" issues of Batman & Detective Comics they will have special full-page pin-up art featuring Batman & Robin. The artwork shown here is by the famous DC Comics artist Carmine Infantino, a fan favorite! Be sure to click on the above graphic for a larger, more detailed, version.
