This week's new episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD will be titled "Long Arm of the Law" & it's main guest character will be Plastic Man. The story will go something like this: Kite Man, comes back for revenge against Plastic Man. With the help of his unstoppable henchmen Rubberneck, he imperils Plastic Man's loved ones and threatens to remove the heroes powers forever. Hmmm, sounds pretty cool! TOY FAIR 2009: Batman The Brave and The Bold Action Figures by Mattel

Every year at the annual Toy Fair Convention there is always a toy that really stands out & is always a big surprise. This year, 2009, the big news was that The Joker must be appearing in a future episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold because Mattel is adding THE JOKER action figure to the next wave of toys. OMG, He looks amazing! This one is defiantly gonna be a "must have" toy for collectors! Now, all the other figures are characters we all already know because they have already been featured on the Cartoon Network animated TV show: Sports Master, Despero, B'Wana Beast, Gentleman Ghost, Plastic Man, Green Arrow, The Atom, The Joker, and, of course, Batman ( 7 different versions of him to be exact, ha ha ). So, what do you think about the "New Joker"?

New BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Product - AIRHEADS CANDY!

Hey Batman Collectors! Be on the look out for this new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD product! It's a package of AIRHEADS CANDY with special bat-graphics! The basic concept is you get this large package that contains 6 individually-wrapped bars of taffy. New BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds!!

Finally! Today, McDonalds released a photo of what the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys for the US market are gonna look like ( click on the pic up above for a larger version )!! There will be 8 toys to collect. Basically it's 6 figures & 2 vehicles. The figures include: Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, & The Joker. The other ones are the Batmobile Car & Black Manta's Robot Ship. Plus, here's some added cool news. Each toy will be imprinted with a special code number that you can use to log-in at the McDonald's website to unlock a "Virtual Batmobile"!! Last night I went to McDonalds & asked then about this new set of toys & they said it would still be another week or two until they release them...So, what do you think about them?! Sean Hartter's Retro-Style SUPERHERO MOVIE Posters

OK, I'm a total loser & don't get to brag much, but I gotta say that I'm really proud of our good buddy Sean Hartter! He's a very talented commercial artist & he recently got some amazing hype on his artwork over at the WEEKLY-CRISIS website. They did a fun story about his fake Retro-Style "Superhero Movie" Posters & Lobby Cards. Basically, he creates new images that look like old vintage advertising for movies that were never made ( but you WISH they had made, ha! ). As an example I'm showing one for THE JOKER with Tim Curry as the lead character. Here's the brand-new movie trailer video shown at the recent San Diego Comic Con for BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, a new animated series coming soon ( November 14th ) from the Cartoon Network! Batman, Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, and Plastic Man all look awesome! The art direction & backgrounds look great!! I think this is going to be an amazing TV show... I can't wait!!

BATMAN: THE BRAVE and THE BOLD Brand New Images

Coming this fall from the Cartoon Network there will be a brand-new kid-friendly cartoon called "Batman: The Brave & The Bold"! I have actually been kind of excited about it because it seems like a neat concept & it's something I can share with my 2 small nephews. Each week Batman will team-up with a different superhero. So far we have seen Aquaman, The Red Tornado, Green Arrow, Plastic Man, & a few others. The prototype artwork so far just keeps getting better & better so I hope the art direction is really good. Many of the photos I am showing here are totally new & some have been around for a week or so ( I just haven't published those 2 yet, I have been waiting for more graphics ). The one with Aquaman is a clip from TV Guide Magazine. I stole that off a friend's blog called "The Aquaman Shrine", be sure to check out his page sometime, it's awesome! Oh yeah, stay tooned with the Bat-Blog because we'll be keeping up with this show like we do EVERYTHING ELSE that's Batman!

Hey Kids, BATMAN Wallpapers! Yes, it's time again for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" ...OH YEAH! This time I thought I would go with an "animation theme", meaning, all the backgrounds are related to "The World of Batman in Animated Form". The 1st one is a great image of BATGIRL from the 90's Batman Animated TV Series. This graphic was made using an original cartoon animation cel so the lines & colors are really sharp. The next image is way more modern. In fact, it's a DC Universe animated film that has not even come out yet. It's the DVD box art for the BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD Movie. ( With the release of every tiny bit of news they feature about that movie it just keeps looking better & better! ). The last background ( Yes, I'm posting 3 of them this week ) is an image from the current BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV Cartoon. Besides Batman, you also get the Plastic Man too!! Anyways, hope you like them all, or at least one of them, ha!

GOOGLE SEARCH Celebrates San Diego Comic Con With Special Logo!

Just a quick post: If you go to GOOGLE SEARCH today ( July 24th, 2009 ) then they have a special Google Logo that celebrates both DC Comics & the San Diego Comic Con 2009! The artwork was created by none other than the famous comic book artist Jim Lee!! I like that it features both Batman & Robin, plus it's kinda cool how he drew Plastic Man!! Another weird thing is _ Where's Superman?!! Oh man, I wish I was at SDCC this year, ARRRGGHH!

In this week's Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series episode Batman’s life hangs in the balance when he is poisoned by Chemo, who is under the control of the evil Brain. The Atom races to the rescue with Aquaman by shrinking down and entering Batman’s bloodstream. While Aquaman and the Atom battle the infection deep inside Batman’s body, Batman struggles to end Chemo’s rampage and defeat the Brain! This week’s teaser features Elongated Man and Plastic Man teaming up to derail a bank heist and capture the criminal Baby Face. It's on this Friday, January 30th, on Cartoon Network at 8:00 PM, 7:00 Central.
